The article quality itself so poor ... "I enjoyed the hell outta uncharted coz I could see his face while I play ... why can't it be same for this game?"
The very studio or rather specifically the studio's devs created the iconic Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butchers Bay,
A critically acclaimed game that features the similar third-first person hybrid structure from 2004! You don't get to see the iconic Riddick/Vin Diesel's face while you play.
So no, the devs aren't living in a bubble but rather followed their tradition.
If they wanted to make another Uncharted/Tomb Raider clone ... they could...
True true
Could've downsized Austin and let them make a experimental AA title
I was disappointed in Fable III,
Felt like an obligatory 3rd part to complete a trilogy
@Hereandthere
Yea, that's one of my more exciting projects...
Forzatech being soo good at generating a sprawling car world, how well they can utilize that for an open world RPG.
Ex-Dice devs implemented amazing destruction in The Finals and gave a much needed competition.
After seeing a glimpse of the alpha footage of this BF ... I'd say they're focusing more on destruction this time.
But as always, only time will tell.
dude ... you've been flamebaiting with these comments ... let people hope and enjoy in their own accord
even I was hoping this game to turn out good ... what's wrong in that?
They might ... just might ... touch the CP code just once more to enhance for PS6+XboxNext ... but not before.
Doing work just for Pro maybe aint not worth it anymore to them.
Seems like they dont want to touch that Red Engine code anymore ... they're done with CP and Red
All focus towards UE and new projects, for better or worse.
Hence my affinity towards proprietary engine and the disgust towards the en masse quick switch to UE from proprietary stuffs
CDPR's Red Engine, Eidos Montreal's Dawn Engine, Crystal Dynamics' Foundation Engine, Square's Luminous Engine etc ~ all abandoned for UE
...
Remedy with Northlight, Rockstar with RAGE, Saber with Swarm engine, Capcom's RE engine, Sony ~ are the few of the saving graces ... (damn even Ubisoft with their 3~4 inhouse engines)...
the invasion/war didn't help as far as I can tell
maybe you dont realize, an invasion's been going on at the studio's home country ... some devs even volunteered to take part in the combat defending their country
Don't think its as broken as CP2077 at launch (T poses n all)
Its actually just few poppins and some glitches
Should run really well ... even on Series S ... given the base game was made for PS4.
Also the funny thing is if this does happen then many who kept shouting about MS buying massive publishers like Activision-Blizzard, will keep their mouth shut now.
its a fan project, primarily
ACs were nice till Syndicate. Just that they were releasing it wayy too often i.e nearly annually or some times 2 games per year i.e III + liberation same year and Unity + Revelations same year.
People complained that we're getting same AC games every year. Ubi's solution should've been to release the games every 3 years or so and abit more refined.
But instead they turned the franchise into humongous RPG fetch quests that just exacerbated the prior issues. Peopl...
Pretty sure you either played with 2023 mindset or played it after playing the modern ones
but released a postpatch 3rd person update for Village
