I know it's not relevant, but I think they're really trying to push for a win in holiday sales. I believe their thinking is, if we can push out as much as we possibly can as quickly as possible, then those people will have an xbox, which will spur their friends to get one, which wil spur their friends...etc. I think they're really trying to pick up momentum again. Want to make a multiplayer only game? Go for it, then make up for no single player by giving me more than 10 maps. Inexcusable for multiplayer only. Titanfall, Rainbow Six, and it looks to be battlefront as well just aren't giving us enough content for a full priced game that is ONLY multiplayer. SO glad they went for rock solid 60fps with dynamic resoltuion instead of 1080p constant with frame rate fluctuating. Much harder to tell a difference in resolution changes mid game than it is a fluctuating framerate
Gameplay > graphics/image quality (whatever you wanna call it). I think every dev should do this if they have to. FPS has always affected gameplay much more than resolution which is why I'm glad they've prioritized it. I hope this becomes an industry t...

Not really. Driveclub is definitely better in graphics, but from the two clips compared, Driveclub is also meant to look more 'cinematic' with effects and such. As i said above, they're very different games, but I think the two different aesthetic styles is being confused with making Forza look 'horrendous'. But god, Driveclub does look phenomenal.
Why does everything get compared with Driveclub. I'm not knocking Driveclub but it's not the be all and end all of racers and they're SUCH different games, I don't see the benefit of it though, but since they're on about it
Driveclub beats out Forza in graphics but Forza has more varied content and tighter gameplay after playing both (although my experience of my both is limited so not entirely valid)

I think it's definitely good to have a lot of xbox/pc games, but I think fully exclusive first party support is needed to really make the console shine and keep it as an 'icon' in gaming. Let's hope he doesn't just keep the main franchises on xbox, but also new IPs like Quantum Break and Recore. It's all about the balance, I hope he gets it right.
I adore every Assassin's creed, got every single game including unity and LOVED them all. But it's just so samey I'm taking a break from the franchise this year and I advise the devs to do the same tbh. Halo 5, fallout 4 and battlefront 3 are my big games this holiday.
