Definitely. I think there's no visually noticeable change with slightly scaled down resolution in high octane moments, but the visual issues with frequently adapting frame rates are much more noticeable. I cannot stress how happy I am that 343 (or any dev at least!) is 100% prioritizing the texture and detail of the environments and 60fps over resolution and CRUCIALLY content over graphics.
With that first party MS budget behind them, from the looks of it, they've cr...
Glad they're prioritizing frame rate and texture/lighting detail over frame rate. Quick, frequent changes in frame rate can cause noticeable issues in the way the game plays. Downgrading the detail would compromise their artistic vision for the game and is also visually noticeable. However changes in resolution are much less noticeable
I do hope more people notice from that gameplay video that there has definitely been a visual upgrade since we last saw it. The lighting e...
Last one I had was FIFA 14 and it feels and plays almost exactly like that imo
I get a teensy bit annoyed when I hear nolan in games now. I know it's silly but I'm sick of that voice. Just seems generic now. I prefer new voice acting talent which generally makes dialogue more fresh than hearing the same voice all the time
Ok I have nothing against Bloodborne, I promise, but why bother tagging this with Xbox so it appears in the Xbox section? Blatant attempt to get more clicks from the submitter, or they want Xbox fans to see PS exclusive content for the lols.
Jesus christ, so many PlayStation trolls on this post, get over it and go back to your own section of N4G. The attitude on this site is pathetic. 123 dislikes on a comment saying Xbox will have best next gen offering? It's ridiculous. How could it not be a whole new game next gen? Xbox aren't going to want to get beaten on hardware again, they'll know that always online and Kinect bundled is a mistake. You might say 'oh but they didn't care last gen'. That's true, ...
GAH they took out the

Bit where Chief and Locke headbutt in the trailer that was leaked that I didn't watch but someone in the comments spoiled for me so I still know that happens. If only I hadn't read that comment, it'd be a surprise for me still. Miffed me a bit, that has.

Wow, loving the name. 'Onecore', very sharp. The screenshot looks great, keeping what I loved about current UI but improving it and rearranging a few things to make it super fast. 50% faster on some apps (Hopefully that include Achievements and Friends, they could do with a speed boost). Looking great, hopefully with Windows 10, Xbox will get a lot more PC games quickly and easily ported across in less then a few days for the dev. Should do wonders to bolster the game library.

I know it takes more money from us, but I'd rather they did 2/3 games to perfect the gameplay and include all the content (e.g space battles, galactic conquest) than force all these things and everything from battlefront 2 with huge player counts and all these modes and maps if it compromised the detail of the game and the quality of the gameplay. Give them a few years to get everything right, and Battlefront will be back to its old perfection. I'm grateful they're bringing back t...
PC or console* (too late to edit)
@Mikefizzled I'd love to see cloud compute being used multiplayer to use my suggestion of making each unit bigger, could help with that many things on screen at once, or in space battles (and on ground too), cloud compute could mean lots more realistic debris floating everywhere or coming off bases. Could make the in game battles look much cooler, especially if they did like really convincing destructability of vehicles as well with lot...
I spent more time on that multiplayer than I have any Halo multiplayer. With friends, the most enjoyable RTS multiplayer I've ever played on RTS or console. I LOVE real-time battles. Halo wars 2 needs to improve the graphics, add space bases/ships and any other improvements are extra. Oh and maybe increase the scale (e.g make marine unit have more marines in the squad at once) and make the maps bigger. Can't wait, so far away, though.
This is a start for them. I think the next game will be much more refined and have more content (e.g galactic conquest, Space battles etc). I'm happy with this for now, though. The air battles look fun and the graphics look amazing. I do think multiplayer only games should be priced slightly lower, though. Can't wait.
So 100% attach rate for Xbox one in Japan :P
I kid, I kid.
I'm loving it. 360 Kinect sucked but Kinect 2.0 can and has added great little additions to games.
It was written by the Offical Xbox Magazine, they're hardly going to go 'meh it's cool I guess'
I think the success of the Online multiplayer might have killed it, or put it much lower on their priority list. Either way I really want some. Be hard to pull off given the alternate endings.
I wonder if the submitters know the s**t storm they'll cause in the comment section when they post these lol
I think it's great for everything BUT motion control, maybe head tracking. Voice navigation, head tracking, noise detection and the heartbeat sensor add loads to games like BF4, Alien isolation, Nevermind etc.
Kinect is great for adding to the game experience, but developers keep trying to make a game where Kinect is the experience instead of bettering the experiences they have already, with Kinect. When they realise that, games will become more fun with Kinect which in i...
If they're quality, as Forza has proven to be, and Halo in some annual stints, it's fine, but it's obvious when it's become a cash cow like CoD and AC. These franchises need a rest so they can think of something new and fresh to bring to the table
True, it's certainly not bad gameplay
