I'd wager ps4 couldn't either, and if it could, the frame rate would be nowhere near as stable as it is now. That scale of game running twice on the same screen would be crazy tasking and the game would be nowhere near the scale it is now.

Already got my chief controller. Truly gorgeous, not just a paint job, geometrical shapes and lines all around the controller, 117 in braille on the back, leser etchings, It *feels* really good. Great job, I'm giving Locke's one a miss, however, not a huge fan of the light blue on the dpad.
I'm very on board if the chatter that this will make the story dlc free is true, it's only a few dances and stuff...if not, and the dlc is still fully priced and everything, then this is absolutely not okay, no matter how small.

I may skip the first version. The second version will be cheaper to produce so likely a lower price, more software support and better product e.g better FOV, but whether or not I get the first version depends on price. Might get later on if price drops a bit.

100% true if they continue this direction of MAJOR improvement and listen to fan feedback. The improvement from halo 4 to 5 is astonishing to say the least and confirmed what I thought all along. Any 'Haloey' stuff e.g music lacking in Halo 4 was purely them finding their feet. Imo they've found em now and Halo 5 is their chance to show us all what they're really made of, and I'm already immensely impressed.

Love the support for indies across all gaming the last few years. AAA games are taking longer and longer to make and aren't cheap, so the support for indie devs not only gives them the money to make bigger/better/more refined games, but also gives us games in between the sometimes incidental droughts of no AAA games due to the long development cycles. Makes sense if it's a Rust/Ark clone. Could even be a copy of the mechanics of Day Z but in a prehistoric setting. I'm hoping for either because we finally need a proper AAA budget behind these types of games. The potential is so untapped.
Exclusive Xbox gamer here. Uncharted wins and I've played much more of Tomb Raider than uncharted so that says a lot.
I'd love it, but very costly to do. Not that they can't afford it, but I doubt they'd want to spend millions just so people can go 'Oh cool' and then never care again. Also the destruction of cars and stuff could be more complicated and the car companies would want to intervene to make their car look good or better and it just creates more complications than it's worth tbh, but as a gamer, it'd be cool to see.
So obvious they rushed it out. Releasing in 2014 with the announcements of DX12, Windows 10, Halo and all the other exclusives makes soooo much more sense. Also explains why many of the main apps didn't become available until 2014, mostly because of the contracts in place etc. Glad it's all up to speed now, though. I mean come on, they released the console WITHOUT a controller battery icon. Imo it'd be best to just wait a year, adapt to what the PS4 had and announce. But hey, mone...

Hope that this does well. Deserves it, but I fear Fallout 4, Halo, Battlefront and Just Cause 3 will overshadow it. Ironically I think the timed exclusivity means that because it launches in November 2016 for PS4 and some time (I forget) beforehand on PC, it'll actually do better in the long run than if it released on all Platforms on the date it releases for Xbox.
