E3 must've been the first time I'd seen this guy and TBH he seems to be a pretty likeable chap. I don't remember coming across anything that shows him in a bad light either.
True. It's usually a waste of time comparing to the PC.
'More details and better textures' are to be expected on the PC version.
I thought the damage in Burnout Paradise was really cool even for an arcadey racer. Oh yeh, Grid's damage was pretty good too though I'll agree nothing epic.
Or if you're a Uni student on a computing course of some sort (including courses like 3D animation and visual FX) you might be able to get Win7 Pro (plus a whole set of other MS software) for free from the MSDNAA site.
That's only if your uni has signed you up for it.
The queue times can be pretty bad at times.
I've had the game for less than a week and have characters on two different servers so I can still play when there's a huge queue because I don't like waiting to be able to play my games.
I bought the Aion collector's edition and it gave me the North American version which for some reason was in Korean even when it was set to English :S.
Had to then redownload the normal version with the NCSoft Launcher.
Any word of a UK release?
(a PM reply would be welcome) :D
There's a safety concern about this too. What happens if someone was to stand in between the device receiving power and the one transmitting it?
I see this as more of a way to have less power cables and less clutter but will require a power socket close by. If the technology continues to advance then maybe we can have true wireless power but that would be a long way in the future IMO.
edit: @ Mc Fadge. Erm I duno... what would happen if you stuck your finger in a soc...
I usually use torrents for anime which are free fansubs. Other than that I don't really have much need for it.
It's nothing new. We do it all the time at Asda with the most popular games and even books such as the Harry Potter ones. It's called a "Loss Leader" http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Expect CoD:MW2 to be at a really great price for the first two days on release.
I remember the evade and escape to the beach mission it took me ages to do it.
Really looking forward to this one.
It's always just the Xbox guys that have a problem with DLC prices. Why not complain to MS instead of Valve? Apparently DLC costs are all down to MS.
Even if it was to be the best game ever it doesn't mean everyone should just give it a perfect score. Reviews are the opinions of the reviewer.
You may give it a perfect score but for me no game is perfect as there are always things that could be improved. It's just that with Uncharted 2 theres hardly anything to improve.
Yeh the video is actually pretty enjoyable to watch. Shame it's short though.
I hope it's a good price on Steam.
Aion is £35 while I can get it from Play for £30.
These two as well as he God of War games are what I wanted to get a PS2 for. Now I may not have to. I will certainly pick these up the day they are released if they go ahead with it.
Nice set of vehicles.
I knew it got a lot of 9s and 10s but I wasn't expecting it to be 9.7 overall.
Yeh K2 actually more than delivered.
As much as I'd like to believe GT5 gameplay will look as good as the screenshots we've been seeing I think I'll wait to see for myself when I get it.
Even if GT5 isn't as good looking as the screenshots it won't be as big of an issue since the game will still look better than F3 and also because PD haven't been running their mouths about it.
Anyone know if these are any good?

I want to get 'em but not sure if they're worth it.
