He's comparing it to the way it used to be since vanilla WoW was harder. Back then it was eaxtremely difficult to complete the top end raids as only the most hardcore guilds could do AQ and Naxx. These days there a many more players able to do ICC 25 man raids.
Theres also a huge difference in time required to skill up professions ans XP required to level to 70 has been reduced a lot.

Yep, compatibility mode usually does the trick. BF2 and Civ4 work fine on Win7 for me.
It does sound like a rant from a noob. Vanilla WoW was crap? No way was it crap. In fact vanilla WoW was great. They've made lots of improvements to the game since then and the leveling process is much more fun now but the end game was better in vanilla though 40 man raiding I'll admit was a bit of a pain.

I like the fact he makes the games he wants to make. Too many devs give in to pressure from fans and publishers but then again I suppose lesser known devs can't really afford to annoy their publishers.
Since I started playing this again the other week I've noticed there are far fewer lower level players running around. Lower level zones are pretty much empty now and even the Barrens which used to be chock-full of player is pretty much empty now. This could be because of it being much easier to level I can't really say but all I know is that since I stopped playing two years ago a lot has changed.
I don't see the big deal TBH. There are people who complain and there are people who love sensationalist headlines but his experiment only proves what we knew already. If it was to show that the people who complain are the same people who go nuts in sensationalist articles then we'd have something interesting on our hands.

We already sell the PS3 at a pretty decent price of £235 in Asda stores. I'll be surprised if the 360S doesn't get a cheap price. If you know anyone who works at Asda you can get a console really cheap since a 10% discount allowed me to buy a PS3 for £211.50 as a gift.
I noticed all three cinematic deaths seem to come at the player. If they all do that then it'll look kind of weird seing all flying enemies you kill moving towards you. Hopefully it's random and they'll lose control moving in different directions.
Some people simply can't pick up on it since not everyone's vision is the same. That's why some people can see light bulbs flickering while others can't.
All those CoD players who start playing KZ3 will only be playing it until the next CoD is released.

You may end up paying lots more on an MMO but the amount of content and play time you get it's untouchable by other games. Even the longest single-player RPG you can think of has nothing on WoW classic.
The money spend goes into maintaining servers and extra content that's continuously being produced and rolled out via patches. Obviously some of it goes to paying the people who work there too but with the quantity of high quality content you get in return is worth it....

They also have Diablo. That's three absolutely amazing IPs that have won who knows how many awards and made who knows how much money. Look at Infinity Ward and Bungie, they have one well known IP each and that's it.
They were already number one before they even merged with Activision.
