Cards are a possibility but the next Xbox isn't going to be for games only. You have to remember they will market it as a home entertainment machine and with Blu-Ray being the standard for HD content in physical form it would be pretty foolish not to include it even if they went with cards for games.
Thanks for that.
I'm enjoying the PC demo at the moment. I think it's a pretty good multiplayer game but with it being DX9 with a Press Start screen and no graphical options other than screen resolution it's pretty obvious it's a port of the 360 version.
Still, I've already bought the game on Steam and look forward to seeing the full game. I really hope Crytek haven't screwed up the PC version in terms of it's graphical capabilities since we all know Crytek is mor...
If I remember right, Cliffy used to comment on here too.
I agree with Alpha. I don't see it as a bad thing as long as they can pull it off. Some of the best multiplayer matches I played were in smaller numbers. Even a 1v1 match can be an amazing experience as it was with Quake 3 Arena.
I'm guessing piracy was a factor in the creation of this new format.
Is this something that's supposed to be bought or is it available as a free download?
This should be good. I've yet to play Sins of a Solar Empire but have read great things about it.
The gameplay in FE and SE was great. I also loved the sound of the rockets which reminded me of the Quake 3 reckets.
I think the reason the LA Noire facial animation tech looks so good is because it seems to slightly exaggerate the muscle movements in the face making them more obvious and easier to pick up on.
Does it just mean high street when it says retail or online shops too? I usually buy online since it's usually cheaper than Steam. E.g. Crysis 2 is £29.99 for the limited edition on Steam and £26.99 on play.com
As far as I know video games artists are mainly just artists that focus on environment and character creation. Take a look at the link as it shows you what people look for in a games artist.

Also, as an artist you'll want to start building up a portfolio of work you can show potential employers. You might find that people in industry actually care less ...
This demo will be the deciding factor in whether or not I buy this game at launch. If the multiplayer isn't great I'm going to just buy it when it's cheap.
He's really loving the attention.
I would be more than happy if they did a remake of the first C&C game as long as they don't screw it up.
Hopefully they're saving a good surprise for the end of X11.
That was an awesome trailer. While visually it may not be as impressive as some PS3 exclusives you have to remember it is a large sandbox game and as such looks mighty impressive.
I don't really care if it's not the best looking game in the world as it's an Elder Scrolls game and therefore doesn't need to be. I'm just glad it's a game I can enjoy spending over 100 hours playing just as I did with Oblivion.
They have their own seperate co-op campaign.
It's just PS Plus users in the US which is a shame since I was looking forward to this demo and can't get it here in Europe.
