There's a guy in uni who bought one and TBH the videos already on the device have pretty good 3D but the games themselves were not impressive.
I think it comes down to how well the 3D is implemented as with 3D movies since some 3D movies have the worst 3D and ruins the experience.
Plus holding it at a certain distance in front of your face is not the natural way to hold it.
The only thing that interests me is games like Metal Gear Solid....
I can understand the reasons for not liking console ports as they leave out a lot of things that PC games should have as standard.
Portal 2 as far as I know has all those features on PC and looks better than the console versions so for me there really is no reason to hate on it. Especially considering that even if it was built ground up for PCs it would run and play exactly the same as it does.
edit: The only thing it might not have is higher res textures. I ...
Same here. This seems like a really great game now.
Whatever it is it's odd that it turned out like this. I actually thought they'd end up looking the same even though Gabe said the PS3 version would be better.
'360 version has washed out colors and lacks a lot of detail.'
That's odd since it's usually the other way around with the PS3 version being washed out and lacking detail.
You could trade in the PS3 version and chances are you will get quite a bit more than £20 back. Plus zavvi have the PS3 version for a little over £32 so it'll end up being even cheaper.
Yeh I got a 5850 too but wait till BF3 launches lol. I'm thinking of upgrading for that game.
I agree, K/D ratio's need to go if you want people to work together.
Where's the suggestion topic on their forum? I reckon we should put that on there if it isn't already up.
It may not be the best but it's definitely the best 3rd person multi-player on the PS3 and maybe even on both. By the looks of it the third game might have the best 3rd person multiplayer on any platform.
I remember an article being posted not long after the first gameplay trailer was released. Maybe it was in pending and didn't get approved.
I'm pretty sure someone pointed this out weeks ago.
I agree with the first part. The accessibility of CoD is what makes it popular with the masses. The fact that you can get kills and progress so easily gives everyone a sense of accomplishment which is what keeps them playing.
When it comes to making games addictive, that sense of accomplishment and progression is what keeps players playing. It works extremely well even with killing the same old monsters in WoW since you always get something out of it and there's always th...
Footage which most people who watched it will not have seen before.
People like us who obsess over games will have seen it a dozen times already but we make up a small percentage of their target audience.
Yep definitely Sargeras but doesn't Diablo take humanoid form from time to time?
Anyway, I'd go for this as box art: http://wtfoodge.com/wp-cont...
There's a reason consoles don't have as much RAM as PCs. PCs have a lot of programs running at the same time and therefore require more RAM whereas consoles have very little running alongside the actual game and therefore don't require as much. Still, I think consoles this gen would have definitely benefitted with more RAM.
True, I was actually thinking of selling the PS3 version after downloading the PC one so that I could get a good chunk of my money back.
That's true for the retail version of the game but when it comes to user made levels people will be creating puzzles that require fast reflexes. That could be a problem if you're using a DS3 or playing with someone who is.
I bought mine last Friday but still haven't had time to play. Working 54 hours leaves me with hardly any free time.
edit: I agree with the guys below. It's a lot for one car. Should have been a pack of cars.
Whoops, I just ended up over-writing my previous post.
lol yeh I was just going to say. If you look at the left half of the screen at ground level you can just about make out the water.
