Yeh I can't believe they put that in there. It was one of the biggest surprises for me and having it in a trailer ruins it for those that haven't played yet.
I've a feeling a lot of people are going to set themselves up for disappointment and will then be pissed off when they find it's not what they were hoping for.
It's weird, everyone says my elf doesn't look so good.
Maybe so but TBH it would have been nice to have some interesting uses for the wife.
Too right. They need to make marriage interesting and fun.
I know what you mean but TBH AC2 was really great. It didn't feel like any of the story was dragged out or anything. It felt like a full game with plenty to like about Ezio and DaVinci.
Brotherhood didn't have much in terms of story and kind of felt like an anime filler episode as does Revelations. What I really don't like about Revelations is that it's in a whole new city and the place really doesn't look that great. Most of it looks very tatty and feels ...
I had problems with the gunplay in that game too but it wasn't the way the guns worked that got on my nerves. It was all the dodging animations making the targets difficult to hit after the first hit.
I can't understand it either at least for SP since I haven't played the MP. The gunplay for me was perfectly fine in SP and I had absolutely no issues with it whatsoever. However, I can't say the same for MP since I haven't touched that yet.
360 version does seem to be the best when it comes to playability Skyrim. PS3 one has a few issues and I've come across a few rather annoying bugs on the PC version.
Yeh there are few reaction animations from the enemies being shot but I think it probably has to do with the audience the game is tailored for. It's made for quite a wide age range and is pretty family friendly. Having the kind of animations you get in Killzone 3 will likely push ratings boards to give it a higher classification.
There are usually quite a lot of things that are discussed when games are being made. Enemy reactions in a shooting game will always be one of t...
I do remember something about them saying they'd make an effort with the PC version of this game since the previous one was badly optimised.
Yeh that's what I meant. I got lucky with the one giving 20% better archery and other stuff since it was perfect for my character and got it quite early on. Though I prefer the look of the Nightingale hood this is more beneficial.
I would like a new Generals game as long as they keep the base building and the same factions. I loved using the mob and upgrading them so there were "AK47s for everyone" lol
For those that don't know, http://www.youtube.com/watc...
I kept it just for looks.
edit: Not too keen on a lot of these videos TBH. If anything, I'd like a video showing us where to get the crazy masks worn by the old Nord lords who are quite tough to kill.
I'd end up leaving it on which would kind of take the fun out of the game for me. The only one I'm considering using is the add item command since I have 27 Crimson Nirnroot and can't find the last 3.
Kinda depends on the character you make TBH. Controller is probably better for melee but if you play mainly with a bow like me then you can't really beat the mouse.
I think I've only played for about 4 hours so far. What you say seems to be true and it does feel like a better game overall but TBH it doesn't feel like a huge step up to me. Maybe more playtime will change my mind. In fact I'm hoping it does because I've enjoyed what I've experience so far.
The experience for me has been pretty much the same as it was for oblivion. It plays almost exactly the same, similar quests and similar quality of voice acting.
I'm not saying that's bad since it's still one of the best games of the year IMO but there just doesn't seem to have been much of an improvement on the formula as a whole.
TBH I kind of thought Brotherhood was a little rehashed too since it felt somewhat rushed. It just didn't have me interested in it story-wise like AC2 did and felt like the story was a little stretched out.
I also didn't like the fact that you had to buy all the shops to be able to use them. There should have been some shops that were already up and running for you to use.
I don't know about anyone else but aside from a few unavoidable quest bugs and the odd little things like NPCs spawning in the air which happened only once I've had a pretty good run.
I've been playing the original release version with a crack and it's turned out very well for me.
