I was really annoyed about the fact that the setting had changed. No more film noire style meant no more Max Payne. That is until I heard Max's voice in one of the videos and then it was Max Payne again lol. Doesn't matter where Max goes. Max is Max.
I quite like watching these vids since it's nice to know all the extra stuff that goes on under the hood. Really looking forward to this particular game.
That's what worries me too.
They haven't listed the specs as minimum and recommended instead they've pretty much stated the minimum required to play and what you'll need for maxing out the game.
So basically, if your specs are anywhere within that range you can play the game but you just don't know how well it will run.
I'm hoping they've put some effort into optimising the PC version this time unlike GTA4 and LA Noire.
I'd be very surprised to see the main character's walk and run animations changed since Desmond, Altair and Ezio all have the same animation when walking and running.
I played D2 but only a few years ago and not in it's prime. I loved the gameplay even though the graphics were dated and I think the gameplay is mostly still there it's just that it doesn't have the same dark vibes the previous one did which is what most veterans are disappointed about.
I'm downloading it now. Would be nice to know whether the beta client is actually the 3.56GB it's downloading or the 15GB I saw before it started downloading.
I'm glad he's black. I actually kind of like the look of the guy and think we need more main characters who aren't white.
I would hate for a crappy port again. GTA4 and LA Noire were both bad ports. It would be awesome to have a properly ported game this time especially with it being a GTA game.
Also, I would love some mod tools for this game since it's the modders who keep GTA games alive on PC for years.
Yep, I was expecting to see those two in the list. Not a great list IMO.
I hope GTA V comes with proper mod support. The mod community would do so much for the game.
You can usually tell by the way the quoted text is written. You can also take a look at the source link under the link that takes you to the site.
I agree with you but I think what you said should have been achieved in the game to begin with and as such any DLC for closure should be free.
I was checking this out yesterday. It seems decent but I don't like that you have no control over battles. Also, the text on my screen is pretty small and tough to read for those was bad eyesight.
Same here.
This looks really good but I don't like how the images for consoles have the top of his head covered.
Most likely because they've been taken from the trailer.
This game is looking really good. It seems much more like the original FarCry minus the silly mutants which IMO is a really good thing.
I lol'd at 'Simon Mode' since my brother is the same. I'll use the same idea with him next time for laughs.
I didn't have much lag either. Was fine for me and was surprisingly fun. The only problem I have with the game is that fighting elites and bosses in a group gets far too chaotic and melee players got owned big time. I like the spell effects and stuff but it gets to the point that too you can't tell what's going on.
I think phasing stuff like WoW would work well and only allow the first X number of people to enter the phased area with the random event keeping it fr...
