It's a fact that it's his opinion lol
Javik is awesome as a character. All the extra dialogue he comes with is what has made me decide to play the game again with him on my squad in every mission.
I didn't have that problem on PC. I'd hate for that to happen to me though.
I never had a PS2 so this is collection is great for me. I also need to pick up the Ico and Sly collections.
Off topic but I wonder just how many people signed up for the WoW year pass thing to get Diablo3 at no extra cost.
I was one of the ones who pre-ordered on Origin though now I kind of wish I hadn't. However, being able to play with Garrus and seing so many great characters come back was worth it overall.
This theory isn't fact at all but IMO this theory turns an otherwise kind of crappy ending into something so much better. It still wouldn't be the everyone lives happily ever after ending we wanted but it's certainly interesting.
There's a fair bit of dialogue available on disk too. Try doing the Thessia mission with the prothean. I was pleasantly surprised by his conversations with Liara.
What I said was down to my experience with the game in the first two hours since that was all I had played at the time. Now that I've played a few more the game is growing on me slowly but hasn't hooked me in like ME2.
It's been streamlined a little more than ME2 making it even more difficult to call it an RPG and I really don't like the new map style. Also, you can't choose a particular quest to follow with markers and such which is kind of annoying.
I agree. I've played for about 2 hours now and don't think it's quite as good as ME2. The first hour or so was extremely linear and anyone who hadn't played a ME game before would think it was just a third person shooter with dialogue choices.
Yep that's right. One of the things I really don't like about this particular engine is how everything ends up with a sort of plastic looking surface though Bioware have done a pretty good job of hiding it.
Also, the smoke effect from smoke grenades is very last gen and really should be using a particle system of some sort for it. I think that the UE3 lends itself best to games with dark colour themes like Gears and Batman.
Heavy Rain certainly wasn't the best game and didn't quite live up to some of the stuff we were expecting. However I did enjoy it and think that the devs will have learned a lot and therefore be able to create something really great.
The casting tech demo used an environment that looked very similar to a house in Heavy Rain so I wouldn't be suprised if the look and feel of the assembly room is reused in the new game.
TBH the robot did make quite a fuss about not wanting to be disassembled and her emotions came across really well IMO. I thought it was nice how the guy showed sympathy to something that looks and acts completely human even though he could scarcely believe it himself.
It releases here on Friday so I'm still waiting. Anyway, I wouldn't mind having a Mass Effect MMOTPS.

Facial motion and sound at the same time is standard fare. It's body motion, facial and sound at the same time that's new as mentioned in the article.
Doesn't make much sense considering the consoles don't have a screen of their own like the iPad. Mike is saying the iPad's native resolution is higher than what the consoles usually pump out.
Comparing the resolution of a screen that's part of a device to a device that has no built in screen as though it's something to be happy about makes no sense to me.
edit: I'd like to see how well the iPad can run a home console style game like Ge...
I know Mass Effect has left a bad taste is many peoples mouths for becoming less and less of an RPG but I have to admit I really enjoyed ME2 and can see why many would vote for it.
The first two Halo games were on PC as well and normally wouldn't make sense to bring it back to PC after missing a few installments. Then again this is supposed to be a new trilogy so it wouldn't be completely out of place for a PC release.
I personally would like to play this game on PC and think there could be some really good multiplayer to be had.
Just what I was thinking. Nobody would bother pirating anymore.
