I thought this game was mainly multiplayer oriented.
So I'm expecting a multiplayer demo.
Edit: @IrishRepublicanArmy. It's only on X360 and PC.
There are no PSN or PS3 logo on the game's official site.
Do they think we Brits are rich or something?
I'm probably not gona buy it either.
I'm considering downloading it simply because of the crazy price.
I'd never trade Killzone2 for this.
As far as I can tell it's not hugely different from CoD4. It's got a few new nice features but not enough for me to want to trade something as unique as Killzone2 or even pay that crazy price.
If Asda have that special discount for the first two days after release I might consider buying it. They had CoD5 on at £28 for the first two days.
Edit: buying it used isn't such a bad idea but Modern Warfare 2s price isn't...
I'm with you
That's what I like about Sony's upcoming lineup. There are some very different games in there.
It's nice to see developers doing something different and pushing a few boundaries.
Isn't this something that happens every three months as financial data for the previous quarter gets released?
Shouldn't last long I don't think
ooops
Very true.
Nice to see someone talking sense lol
Yeh the games got some pretty good features that will help bring in new players to the racing sim genre.
It also helps with sales too since it's made more accessible to the masses of Xbox owners and not just the hardcore racing sim fans.
I'm not keen on walking tanks.
They need to do something original
Apparently they didn't actually say that.
From what I've read it seems that people just ended up with that assumption.
As far as I know it's not been said that it won't/will go to the US so keep your fingers crossed.
They do look too good for ingame shots.
Does the game have some sort of photo-mode? I'm asking since the gameplay vids were very impressive so I'm not so sure as to whether these are in game shots or not.
edit: the more I look at these and the gameplay vid the more I think these aren't in game.
edit2: @Maddens Raiders. Thanks for that. So the photomode enhances the image? Looking at the images of the cars in the selection screen it's clear they don't loo...
Valve redefined it way back with Half-Life.
If someone wants to redefine it again in their own way that's fine by me as long as it's a great experience.
I don't think you understand this game very well.
It plays like a movie. For example if a female character was to try and get with some guy she'd have more success while looking good. The guy might prefer women with a certain look so in order to get with him the woman would need to make sure she looks the way he likes his women.
That's what I got from the thing about failing if you get the look wrong.
Also, it doesn't stop the progression of the story si...
lol just what I was thinking.
'what do sony fanboy rants say about sony gamers? you lot are like a bunch of angry feminist dykes at an EA game launch. why is the PS3 so important to your lives that you have to defend it constantly'
You do realise the same can be said about X360 fanboys.
Your little rant pretty much puts you in the same boat as PS3 fanboys as far as I'm concerned.
If you're trying to show you're any better you're doing a pretty poor job of it.
Ballmer's not the kind of guy who could take a hint is he?
I agree with you but more often than not you can find used games in stores cheaper than they'll be online.
I'm all for buying games online but the prices are usually nothing special unless theres a limited time special offer.
edit: BTW, does it allow you to download games again whenever you want like Steam? Would be pretty great if it does.
£55 in the UK apparently.
I'm not sure what the price is for the PC version though.
Normally I don't mind paying extra if it's worth it but extra for this game really isn't worth it for me.
