I wouldn't exactly consider it a double standard.

If it was in the game it would be one thing, but this is out on a website/forums which has a separate set of rules that people should read.

Still though they need to lay off a bit on the temp bans, and instead put warnings.

"LOL @ Grip, why're you throwing system requirements in our face. That proves our point. You need 1-2GB of memory on your laptop to run the Window OS ALONE. Console OS' wouldn't require nearly that much as they're dedicated gaming machines. Why do you think gaming PC's are heavy on the memory?"

That still proves the point where he said PCs NEED 4GB, when in fact you can deal with 2.

People forget about Windows XP or Linux or othe...

It is.

The key thing, is that Halo didn't have any attachement. It was the game by itself.

Kinect Adventures was forcefully bundled with Kinect.

"The game is fine as it is for release, any person who have common sense would have figured out that in game this caliber will have tons of bugs, and wait a bit before purchase, as I am doing. "

Honestly this kind of thing would be unheard of gaming back in the 90s for consoles. PC it happens every once in a while, but they were still commented towards a little bit.

The ability for consoles connecting to the internet changed the way how companies fo...

"trade-in value are much higher "

That's not 100% true. They fluctuate just as much as Gamestop does. I've had some games trade more at Gamestop, and others at Best Buy.

Next we'll see Coke brand advertised in X game more than Y game means X game is the better game.

I agree on the Story part to MW3, but the Graphics a tie? Really?

"Then again, they did completely screw over the PS3 fanbase by promising them a free game and not delivering."

Actually they are delivering NOW. Check on their website. On the 10th PS3 users that got the LE are getting BF1943.

Jim...You always have to instigate one way or another, whether it's in your reviews, or your rants.

I remember that rant a while back where he said PC gaming shouldn't be around anymore cause devs should ignore it thanks to piracy from others, and blamed Console Piracy on PC gamers. -_-

"It's only bad if they know your email and password. So I don't see why it is poor security. A lot of websites does this method."

Honestly it's safer if a website has it changed in their database than linking to an email.

It's nothing to throw a hissy fit over however.

@PshycoNinja

Sorry, I should have clarified on the epitome part. I wasn't relating that to you saying it, just the way how people are treating it, if that helps any.

But yea I do agree on that it'll definitely stand out.

"Why is it horrible for the gaming industry and it's evolution?"

Because it gives companies the mentality that people will still accept broken stuff at launch.

However the issue people have with this is the "social" bringing together, which means while you get that portion of good players, you also get the idiots.

Thing is, it's free for the most part, so I don't see the true reasoning behind the heavy complain...

Honestly the story wasn't horrible in FF13 to say, as it was just a huge assortment of pieces that they expected the players to already know the big picture that they're putting together, which honestly you don't really know until near the late end of the game.

I get from a lot of people that they ended around chapter 10, where you FINALLY start the exploration. This also ties into an issue I feel that people had more so of FF13 than the story, which was the linea...

The irony to me in this situation so far is me and a bunch of my friends loved playing through Apocalypse.

Hopefully it doesn't spell the end for this studio.

Thank you for explaining out on the whole thing.

It just confused me as to how people threw around sales numbers so much on this site that I just question what people are saying.

Honestly, from what I experienced as far as on the Nintendo end, people went with used ones this time around during Black Friday, cause the sales was on those.

"Because these companies are obligated to release factual correct statements and there is almost no better source than the manufacturer themselves. "

You mean like many of those companies that twist words around of shipped vs sold, or companies saying one thing, then backpeddling.

I'm not saying they're lying, but I generally take "sales" stuff from companies with a grain of salt.

I see one too many times of peopl...
