Some of us actually own the original copy and want newer people to enjoy the game without ragging on the looks behind it.
"lol, still stuck in the ps2 days"
It's better than the immaturity of the community and flashyness people expect in games. Most of my collection from the PS2/Xbox era has more length than many of the PS3/360 era of games.
And for the whole "people played CoD for the multiplayer", you're just giving companies a crutch to go onto paying $60 for smaller stuff.
"Without multiplayer, a lot of the games I buy will ...
It's the filter they're using. Honestly i'd prefer the older style than this. It just doesn't look like much of an improvement.
Wow I've never seen anything well put on this site about the transition of gaming over the past years.
Honestly it's really the transition of news and communication, like you said, is the major game changer. The instance of information that comes out happens in minutes vs the days of magazines.
Along with that was the stance of how devs treated the games, i.e. demos and fixes. Since there wasn't much of the ways to reprint games over again in the ...
Edit: Site hiccuped on me and thus a double post happened.
It's funny. You call someone out on their literal statement, and then they just insult you on this site.
It STILL applies to that statement even though he tried to correct in the wrong way.
"cross game chat is owned by xbox "
Last I checked you can do that with ventrilo, skype, and other things. :p
I also find this funny in the sense that people are so entirely pissed, and yet when it comes back online, people will just play their games and move on.
@Alpha-Male22
The ironic thing about that is people act like grade-a punks online, and people want to get away from THAT.
"justify it all you want ,don't care what your installing into a data base or record your shifting threw, it does not take 2-3 weeks before your get it right."
I didn't know you were in IT Networking. What else should they do then?

@Veneno
Games don't need high progress to see cutscenes in order to convey what they want across.
I also find Portal farther away from a casual experience if anything. It's a different take on puzzle style games, and difficulty varies on them.
Thing is, you're not shooting things vs CS and HL, so there's a change of pacing in those games, from finding out how to get out of an area and then destroying opponents in your way.
Heh. I like how I got 3 disagrees for stating how "I AM better with a keyboard and mouse", not saying "Keyboard and mouse are better to use"
Again, just throwing out there this system needs to be revamped, to at least making it so that people have to respond before voting.
"Nope. I am a mature true gamer that enjoys his system of choice and enjoys my game,s flaws and all, not a 5 year old who wants his and the other boys toys because he doesn't or can' t appreciate his own. "
I'm 30, married, have 2 kids, go to work, and have 4 major methods of platforms. What's your excuse?
Maturity has NOTHING to do with owning a collection. You're just using that word as a crutch to try and insult someone.
@plbelanger
I'm just getting the PC version regardless, considering I work much better with a keyboard and mouse for a FPS.
@CrazyForGames
This is where it falls into place though. You called the poster after that one ignorant, when there was of no situation detailed, and THEN you went onto providing stating Sony.
It wasn't the content, it was starting off on a hostile foot.
@CrazyForGames
Now you're just being stubborn. You specifically(emphasis on that)
"there really is no innocent victim here party A is easily blamable as party B so there is no such thing as a victim"
You severely shot yourself in the foot on that literal statement, and now people are correcting you, and you aren't just admitting that you should have just rephrased it.
You didn't STATE Sony, you just said...
@Si-Fly
It just concerns me about how they want to take the game. I mean I had a slight issue with the one button driving from the last game, but now one can say you can control the game on the same level as Mario Kart, so the idea behind it as somewhat of a simulator is becoming a bit more devastating from this.
@Wenis
The problem though is that we had a better alternative long before this was out. It's like a step going backwards.
I already vented out what I said on a comment below.
How did we go from using high tech driving wheels for Forza 2 & 3 to something like this:
"So instead of fumbling around trying to find the correct position for your hands, simply hold the steering wheel infront of the Kinect camera and drive away!"
I'm legitimately and honestly questioning this and wondering what direction their going with on this.
I can understand if they want to push the accessory onto other games, but no...
Ray how does the implementations on 1 game say that the network is hacked? How would anyone immediately come to that conclusion.
How would that work also in the sense of MW being hacked on all the platforms? Would that mean that all networks across all platforms were at security risk?
