The irony of this, is that The Darkness is a comic series.
"It's...the same game..."
Except updated, hence why he said compared to the wii counterpart.
@2fk I'm having fun with the MP, thing is there's some minor issues that need to be fixed, but outside of that it's a nice change of pace.
I will say this though, I got it on PC. My friends got it on PC, but I dunno how the console versions are.
"What's the point of the Agree/Disagree-Bubbles system if it is overly used and there is sometimes no constructive criticism or legitimate case to voice your opinion?"
I've been questioning that heavily for a while now. It wouldn't be as bad if people were forced to reply after that.
One piece already had a game out in the states. Unless you're talking about a game on the 360/PS3 before one piece.
The link showed nothing that related to EA. That's the fallacy people are going at. It's not the price drop thing, it's the REASONING behind it, that you're flaunting that BECAUSE of this 1 "rumored" reason.
"Agree Laxman216, pretty much what EA did with Sega and the Dreamcast. People forget quickly I guess."
What the HELL are you talking about? EA didn't drive them to the ground. SEGA did that to themselves.
"Facebook games aren't that high-tech, yet, they are somehow, a mega cash cow."
If that's where the mass of the gaming industry is going to head, then honestly we were at the peak back in the 90s.
Don't tempt them. It's bad enough PSN and an official game site already affected.
"Finally the only thing that hackers could never hack would be the Xbox live, too protected."
Too protected?
It's like how the whole PC vs Mac when Mac users say that Macs are impervious to viruses, and yet this whole time it was because they didn't put focus on the systems, when recently there's malicious code developed for it because they're tapping more into the market.
One has to be really delusional in the field...
"we might get actual justice done."
Pfft....asking them to get actual work done.
"why are people stupid for going somewhere else to game online? and best of all xbox gives you one month free so within that month they can trade their 360 back in and get a ps3. "
I have more of an issue with the example you stated. I would call someone definitely impatient if they went the trade route of PS3->360->PS3.
You know the sad thing is? I've seen it done before on games. It's like what the hell was the purpose of you doing t...
@BlackTar187
Well the thing is RDR was able to manage a DLC and re-retail release with Undead Nightmare, so why couldn't they do the same?
"Gameplay Today explains why exclusives only hurt gamers and breaks down the walls that separate those who own only one system by showing that it all boils down to us loving games, not systems."
The irony of it all is THAT is how the gaming industry grew up to be in the first place.
The only major difference is that devs aren't using console powers to their full capabilities, and just focus on quantity instead of quality.
"IMHO, a lot of people want to see a set date when it's going to be up and no matter what Sony does or doesn't say, they won't be content until that date is set and met by Sony."
And that's the problematic mindset people are with. They rather have a date to fall back with, and then center *everything* around it.
It's like with video game releases for example. I prefer more of a company going "it's done when it's done...
Oh same thing with Arcade Edition, and yet that one's also getting a retail release(not joking about that sadly)
"Who are you to complain? You probably don't even play sf to understand the major differences between sf4 and ssf4."
It's simple.
The difference is paying $40 instead of $60.
@Ceekay
So you would have skipped Portal 2 then, since lead platform was PC.
Also if anyone was going to use the whole "2 copies with 1 version", that does not make it a lead plaform in development, that makes it a better marketing position.
@P_Bomb
Unfortunately it's next to impossible to get that message across to some that browse the net.
"Robert Baldwin, Heartland's president and CFO, said in a USA TODAY interview that the intruders had access to Heartland's system for "longer than weeks" in late 2008."
And here people thought Sony was taking longer than needed, and yet these guys in the largest breach had weeks of access vs 1-2 days of access on PSN.
