As far as the tech involved, having a ball point on a stick vs laser, the laser is more accurate in that aspect.
However what you say does have a bit of truth to it, cause some people just can't handle the KB&M set-up.
"Who the heck cares about Japan. "
You...wouldn't last long in the industry with that ideal.
@MidnytRain
He tried pulling it off as if everyone that games on PC pirates and buys nothing, even though you'll see some devs talk about a huge profit from selling on places like Steam.
@Victorious
Read his piracy rant and you'll think otherwise.
He thinks that devs should no longer make ANY games on that platform, because of a few people pirating games.
Yet made no references to people doing the same on consoles, but blamed that on PC community also.
"People bash on this guy because he actually isn't afraid to use the entire review scale. 7.5, when using the ENTIRE scale"
I would be on the side to agree with it, except that he doesn't admit to some of his bias, when you see him giving Return to Dreamland a perfect 10, bad mouth and made a false generalization of the PC crowd because of a closed mind to piracy(he basically stated it's all the PC Community's fault for piracy), and among other thing...
It's not that they're not fun experiences, it's that people pass it off as being a good movie up at the ranks of ones like Inception.
Actually GTA is that series that has that potential. If anything I see so many kids asking their parents to buy a game in the series or asking questions when a new one is coming out.
Yes, and that possibly is the same standard as if you were playing from your regular location, hence that part of the quote:
" “If your account is related in suspicious activity, quite possibly.”"
Not "possibly" because you're using VPN
People really need to read the articles:
"For those using VPN techniques to gain early access to Battlefield 3. DICE has this to say. “We strongly advise you do not use VPN. You can compromise the security of your account.” When asked by some fans if it is indeed possible to have their accounts banned, DICE responded. “If your account is related in suspicious activity, quite possibly.” Daniel Matros weighs in as well saying that though “it isn’t illegal,” DICE highly adv...
...Dead Island...
I really wonder if people actually keep up on the research of what companies do.
Yea I do agree that it's kinda a let down, but he's making it as it's gamebreaking.
@WrAiTh Sp3cTr3
FYI I'm 32. I actually work in this field, unlike people that need to google it.
"”EA is using the extra storage capacity of Blu-Ray to add a second game, Battlefield 1943 to the disc. That extra and exclusive content is a critical differentiator for PlayStation,” said SCEA CEO Jack Tretton, during Sony's E3 presser."
...said SCEA CEO Jack Tretton...
..said SCEA..
Not having 8 min private matches on launch is a complete let down?
@trenso1
So you'll never get money ever again? Cause you're making it sound like that as you only had a set amount, and spent it on other things, so now you can never get the game.
The funny thing though, is that people around places like GFAQs knew this in advance, along side of Joystiq. So if you only get your news from this site....i can understand.
What gets me, is those now "canceling" the game, because they didn't ...
Actually it's not blown out of proportion. At the part-time job i'm at, we have to direct concerned about that to WB Customer Support. There was an email stating about it.
" I mentioned Carmack to back up my statement concerning the bigger games are going to sell more on consoles."
Yea, and yet he had 3 examples, you only had 1 that suddenly changed his mind AFTER a launch, despite the fact that he somewhat botched 2 out of 3 versions.
You say "captain obvious", but I don't see any sense of logic backing your argument up other than names. You didn't even explain why you thought he was right, but ins...
"No one cares that PCs are more advanced than consoles, they're more boring than them. You want an extra few pixels and "wetter" textures, good for you, but stop bashing consoles just for the sake of pleasing a few morons that'll end up Torrenting your game."
God at the irony of this.
You see more and more people complaining about why X game doesn't look better on a said console, and then demonize the devs on this site.
...
"Piracy rates on the PC are so high that some companies intentionally delay PC releases for fear that it will cannibalize console sales. "
Explain how there's leaks of console versions out quicker than that of PC on multi-platform release as of late?
Delaying doesn't even stop that.

I'm confused here. What "legal" issues are there pertaining to BoF3?
I mean I have the original game and all, but if what one of the comments above say that it's due to religion or something is true, it would be a load of BS on that end, considering the SMT series is alive and well on this front, and that's WAY more serious.
