@RBLAZE1998 You seem awfully defendant on an objective article here....
If you saw a lot of "valid points" then explain out in detail WHY.
@cgoodno
I don't think this is about the whole "trading a game", but more so of a company can potentially screw out customers if an incident like this happened of keys not working, or keys not even there, and them turning a blind eye to it.
Thing is though, PC gaming has the codes meant for proof of purchase as DRM years ago, before console games started pulling it off.
Thing is for PC games, it's understandable. Console gam...
I doubt that it'll catch on with ease like Pokemon did.
Pokemon started off in it's IP to collect them all. This is the Spyro series suddenly turned into pokemon-like, and that doesn't translate well for the original generation of players with this series, because when kids find out about the older games, they'll also wonder about them also.
"Am I the only one that thinks betas are meant to be buggy :D"
I'd be hesitant to say no given with the responses of people thinking that a beta is now suddenly the final representation of the game, even after that big BOLD statement before playing that says "THIS IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OF THE FINAL GAME". :p
@MARIOFTW
Where did you see Dice mouthing off against Sledgehammer?
@Capslockfury
It still doesn't deviate the fact that you accept this kind of actions coming from a company.
The fact that they're basically lying about the online passes "helping server costs", yet we see yearly shutdowns doesn't disturb you in any logical sense?
You know, it's really annoying how when there's a legit issue like this getting fixed, people that commented before hand in other articles like this one:
http://n4g.com/news/866430/...
are trying to deny issues in any way possible like kaveti6616 for example. -_-
@gamingdroid
I'm one of those people affected. Granted it's not widespread, SOMEONE from EA really needs to answer about this, because it's annoying that I have to wait for about a month before the investigation is finished.
I noticed that too sonic.
It was easy enough for me going back into playing Guild Wars while playing the beta.
One of the main reasons I feel why people are making a big deal over this, is that it hits the Old Republic timeline, which imo was more worthwhile than the timeline the movies go into.
Did it ever occur to you that there could be a legit problem?
I got hit by the Fifa exploit of someone attacking my account and I lost 1000 points.
Luckly for me, the customer service person I talked to at Microsoft already locked the account, and sent it into their investigations team.
You really say that the actions of someone else sucessfully using an exploit that's been open for an entire year is somehow my fault for example?
...
"The devs aren't the enemy here. It's all the used game sales."
Actually the devs can be the bad guy. One major factor in that is service to customers.
If you treat customers more to criminals, and the fact that some forms of DRM hurts legit customers more than pirates, some devs understand that. Other ones continue to go on that schtick.
It's been at least 20+ years when gaming has been around. Passes have been "in...
I wouldn't mind this so much, if it wasn't for that it felt like he ditched the PC version too. >_<
It just seems like his pride is getting the best of him at this point, and rather than stating that he made a few mistakes in the coding or so, he'd rather redirect that fire.
@xtreampro
You only saw 1? I saw multiple after completing the game.
But...they both still have the game by your analogy.... >_>
"HINT HINT: look at their last TES game, then look at the obvious visual discrepancies in FO3 and NV. "
You know that overall it still was better on the computer than that on console, and was easier to manage with.
Also look at the sheer rush of FO3 and NV. Bethesda is already slightly notorious in the aspect of sheer bugs.
Plus the thing is, he can use that same coding used nearly a decade ago. That's why there's coding lib...
I love the response of people on this site.... (sarcasm)
Rather than actually respond and contest to what I say, they just press the disagree button and move on.
You didn't have your Xbox around Christmas '07 I see.
They gave people one of the arcade games for free as an apology, which was Undertow, because of the massive outage due to many people connecting onto the service.
You can tell many people that deny it on this site either forget on purpose, or didn't own the system back then.
It really disturbs me that people think systems are impenetrable, and then when it happens, they suddenl...
Alright who's the jack*** who put a disagree on basically theft of identity?
"i dont see the problem here the code comes inside the game,"
The issue being is that some people DID NOT GET CODES.
