@Gamingdroid, The mile high club achievement was frustrating because it took me like 5 goes, but it was soo worth it, especially since it was the last one to get 1000.
MW2 didnt have anything that equaled that difficulty. But I got 1000 in both MW games.
Im still 50/50 on MW3, its the same games yes we all know but it actually looks like an improvement but I think the COD4 story is one of the better single player campaigns, MW2 was a real disappointment. I wanna see where MW3 ...

The riots barely made news in the USA..

Im also from London but the riots started because of the confusion about facts of the police shooting and killing someone.
The looting came from no where, I was driving around in enfield just dropping someone home when someone rolled over the front of my car, smashed into a JD sports and ran out with boxes..We also saw near wilsden green...

Most of the 3rd person shooter audience have been left out for a while. Call of duty was only soo big because there wasnt any else shooter wise that had such a following.
Many will argue that battlefield is better but it doesnt get close on sales.
Gears was a massive game and has a massive MP base, all of those players have become active. Call of duty is really boring and black ops is the reason why many have taken that view so they want different games.

The sound in black ops is horrible. Just check the number of threads on the black ops forums..
MW2 was ok, but the best sounds were in World at war, guns actually sounded like guns.
Where as Black ops sounds like plastic toys.
They should really sort the sound out, and battle field has better sounds over the past 2 games.
I used astro A40's but with black ops there isnt any need since for some reason ninja pro can be heard a mile away on my regular tv spea...

Lots of films lose out because they dont shoot the entire film in 3D.
Transformers 3 was all shot using 3D cameras, but RIO wasnt created for 3D.
Even films like capt america hasnt used 3D fully so if watched in 3D 4 or 5 clips will be in 3d and the rest wont. Marvel did that with thor, they get more money from duping people into watching films in 3D when they are natively 2D.

GTA is way more popular on the consoles and the long term benefits of MMO for such a game are horrible.
People that buy games like COD etc...Are pretty much 'action junkies', they want a fast paced game with lots of explosions. GTA IV is relatively slow paced, and RDR as good as the single player was the MP was pretty awful. It could have been a little more story, but all in all I liked it, as did most.

There are many many people who do not have adequate connections to support the amount of data that will be transmitted.
All media, on demand is heading to a cloud based service, where physical media will slowly decrease.
But to make it viable for all, its going to take years.

As many apple fanboys as I know, they all have the xbox and ps3, and they dont want an apple console.
Apple device cycles are 3 years or something, they only ever support 2 operating systems across all their devices.
I dont see how people could buy consoles year on year, maybe laptops, Iphones and Ipads, but not consoles
MS did make a profit on it, by allowing the DLC to go over to the ps3 and pc.
So every person who paid for it on pc and ps3 gave MS a little money.
It was a good deal which got xbox sales up.
