Idk why everyone straight away compares power when it's so obvious that they're for different audiences, and one of them is a freakin portable.
Wait, lemme get this right... You think the Xbox One X is gonna be more powerful than a portable system? Look buddy idk what you're smoking but you need to get off it. Next you'll be telling me that water is wet or something preposterous like that.
I'd like to be able to play with my friends on other consoles. Does nobody else have friends who have bought different consoles or even PCs?
Splatoon and Arms come to mind as new big franchises by Nintendo in the last few years.
MK8D has a better framerate, higher resolution, better texture filtering, new characters, new cars, wheels and gliders, and new battle stages while including the DLC by default. It also has had gameplay tweaks such as being able to hold multiple items at once, the new double item boxes, steer assist, etc.
It has so many improvements from MK8. Troll harder.
Probably some kind of manufacturing reason behind it such as needing the factory for the Switch, or maybe the company they were making it with is going out of business, or a chip in the console is no longer being sold.
I doubt Nintendo would kill it off for no reason given the interest it gained for the company.
Think he was talking about the NES Classic, people worked out how to get more NES games on it lol. Not really anything too bad as anyone with a computer can play any NES game right now with an emulator.
Wow, calm down man it's just a $50 hunk of plastic. I'm sorry your son won't be able to have it but he probably would have got bored of it fairly quickly, and then you can't get any more games on it as they all come with the system.
I don't believe they purposely make artificial shortages because imo that probably just drives away as many people as it brings in. With the Switch and the Wii Nintendo were coming off of their least successful consoles and weren't expecting too much from their next effort. Also with the Switch they were trying to avoid what happened with the Wii U, where they produced millions too many and pretty much didn't ever sell through what was produced in that first year or so.
Payday 2 came out on the PS4 recently too, but nobody batted an eyelid then. A system getting a game should never be twisted into a negative thing imo.
What. Who ever even implied World of Goo was worth getting the console for? That's Zelda's job.
Wonder if Zelda will overtake it in the long term though, as right now it's basically sold as many as is possible given the Switches install base haha.
Eh, Nintendo wasn't exactly expecting a massive success after the Wii U, so they didn't make many Switches for launch. Probably could have done much better if it had been in stock haha. We'll definitely have to see how it goes in the future :)
It's pretty much impossible since these days it's so easy for one of the 100 reviews on metacritic to just give it anything below 10/10 and the dream is gone.
The framerate issues are annoying but don't detract from the experience enough to warrant too much hate. The fact that we are even talking about the framerate right now means that Nintendo isn't getting a free pass.
We saw videos of how actual gameplay looked before release?
Yeah but it's a portable lol. You don't expect a phone to be more powerful than a PC do you?
My phone was $400 unlocked.
The weather changes based on where you are. There are places that barely ever rain.
@riverstars86
Maybe DragonDDark has a PS4, thus multiplatform games aren't a factor in his decision?
