Settle down Kotaku. Bunch of nerds I swear. Dead Space looks amazing, so much so, I think it might reshape the horror genre considering Capcom have dropped the ball with RE5 gameplay.
Survival Horror games for me, need to be less about pointless inventory management and ridiculous puzzles, and more about creating a terrifying game that scares the bajeezus out of anyone that gets involved in the game.

I watched this movie the other day and I have to say, it's he worst movie I've ever seen in my whole entire life. Granted I did laugh when he used a cats butthole for a silencer, but all in all, it seems to me like Uwe wanted to play off the terrorism shock joke thing. Once you strip away the 2 or 3 "jokes" about terrorism, the only other shocking thing about the movie is little kids getting gunned down in the street.
If by any chance you found this movie remarkably fun...

In all honesty, Crytek developed an engine that is both beautiful and foreboding. Other developers are forced to implement visual tricks and different styles of rendering to achieve decent HD graphics on current consoles. Crytek simply went all out and designed an engine that does everything long hand, forcing the player to adapt... or not play.
I play Warhead at 1360x768 with Enthusiast settings, motion blur off, with an average of 30 to 60 frames per second.

If the hardware is and OS is smarty done, and there's some other developers lined up to develop for said console... then I don't see a problem.
Good luck to them challenging MS, Sony, and Nintendo though.

After playing GTAIV, hardcore GTA fans can't help but look into other GTA-esque games like Saints Row 2 and APB, hoping those IP's will offer something remotely "fun"... something Rockstar simply forget about when creating GTAIV.

I made sure to take my time and really play with the deformation stuff. I can see how ridiculously fun multiplayer could be using this stuff. Other than that, this game feels very gimmicky.

I am not excited for RE5. Gameplay couldn't look more dated, enemies couldn't be less scary. When the game officially releases, and its getting 7's or even 6's across the board, don't say I didn't warn you.
