Sony didn't take in the account that graphical effects outweigh graphical prowess.
Meaning a game like COD4 rendered in sub-HD upscaled to 720p running at 30 frames per second looks better than something like Psychonauts rendered in 1080p, running in 1080p at 120fps.
Video games can go either way if a developer wanted to, but because most people don't own HDTV's, its smarter to develop their game that looks great on any type of TV.
I read the interview and Mr.Moore comes off very intellectual, but a bit sour about Japanese developers in general.
Some quotes I found funny, "And then, the shape of the 360, we actually built 20 prototypes to confuse the bloggers..." Twenty prototypes huh? Seems to me like they picked the wrong one for the final version. (RROD)
"And then Sony came up with that Killzone video – and they still haven't shipped the game! Have you seen the video?! The gam...
Nice to finally see the Koenigsegg is getting some attention...

You read that whole thing? Honestly, I read the first paragraph and the authors tone came off very demeaning to me...
I can rhyme.
Not another blog being posted here. Please baby Jesus, smite these unholy submitters and their bloggers too?
BTW, MS have been pretty keen on digital distribution. They believe this will be the future of home movie entertainment.
I agree Microsoft does charge for some ridiculous items, but I already know this, I had a 360 and would chuckle when I saw some of the stuff they put up for sale. Now I have a PS3 and while PSN does charge for some iffy stuff here and there, I don't make a deal about it.
One thing is for certain, who is submitting all these junk articles? Better yet who is approving them?
Gameplayer is nothing but opinion articles, yet their being submitted and approved.
...
Xbox Focus is an arrogant site riddled with convoluted articles that stink of adolescence.
I'm excited for Fallout 3 too, but I will not waste my time reading this junk.
Might be my new favorite gaming website... other than N4G of course ;) ...Interesting read though, I look forward to reading their Hour Play reviews.
I'd say a good share of the game can be experienced in one hour, good games would inspire more play, bad games would obviously... NOT. This is a very touchy subject though, considering most games become very repetitive after hours of gameplay, and only a small percentage of games actually grow on the player as the game progresses. ...
Kotaku is good for a laugh once in awhile, but Gamedaily is just plain crap! It's like a 3rd grader is writing every single article.
I used this with my 360 way back in the day because the 360 couldn't play certain file types. When I switched to PS3, I found it easiest just to transfer the files to the HDD, seeing as how the PS3 supports pretty much everything now.
I'm pretty sure Best Buy is spelled with capital B's.
This is an FPS funded by and intended for Cyberathlete Professional League play. It is being developed by Escalation studios, with the help of Tom Mustaine. They are going for PC release of course, with talks of a PS3 and 360 version being made also...
If you ask me, CPL and and professional gaming is a joke. If this game is really legit and competitive though, it might change my mind.
This is a blog though...
Last I checked, this website was called "News (4)for Gamers".
I don't normally like EA Sport games, but this one I really enjoyed. Very slick presentation and fun gameplay. FIFA doesn't have as much depth that's found in other EA Sport games like Madden and NHL, but its still really fun.
The celebrations you can pull off after making a goal made me laugh so hard, great idea on that one.
Look at this kid... CMON!

Played the demo, pretty good for a point and click adventure game.
Just look at this douche... no wonder he has to prowl the streets pestering women.
I remember awhile back when I owned an Xbox 360... I bought a point card from EB games, up until then I haven't bought anything from the online store.
I get home and scratch off my lottery ticket point card with a dirty penny... and to my surprise, there was no code. No numbers, no letters, I kid you not!
I was swindled. I called MS support and they couldn't do anything about it, I called EB games and said it was possible I scratched off the numbers and letters. Obvi...
I watched the video and it looks like he was having some good ol' fashion fun playing the game. "Whooooooop" -Laughter- "Whooooooooop" -More Laughter-
His comment about the game contradict the enjoyment clearly expressed. I bet you dolla's and cents he still be playin dis shi addicted as hell, naw mean?
