Your looking at it. My avatar is the red devil with horns. My comment is "Old Snake Clan Leader", and my latest trophies are from Dead Space.
You find it hard to believe that a PS3 owner would bash a PS3 exclusive? Hey, the first Resistance was good fun, story rocked and the multiplayer was decent, R2's multiplayer doesn't hold up against other great MP games though. The design just isnt thought through well enough.
I deleted the beta from my PS3 after playing about 10 rounds of TDM. Multiplayer is a joke. 60 players or not, I will be renting this game for SP.
Others might say "But Shank, you art thou daft! This be a beta! 60 players FTW!"
The issues I've come across in the game are not related to it being a Beta. The way multiplayer is designed just doesn't work. Co-op might be good fun, but competitive multiplayer is ridiculously lame.
Games like R2 mak...
Correct me if this feature has been in the past but I also noticed after the update, if the PS3 is set to go to the screen saver, the second you pick up the controller the screen saver ends. They must have tied the function to SixAxis controls or something. Not a big deal for some, but a cool feature non the less.
PS. This feature only works if the controller is on, I have My PS3 go to screen saver after 5 minutes, and the controller to turn off after 10 minutes.
1.Custom Avatars or a wider selection of avatars. Realistically though, I see Sony coming out with some 99 cent avatars or something.
2.Cross-game chat or phoning a friend feature would be nice. voice messages would also be cool.
3.Other than that, a few improvements here and there could always be made. I commend Sony for releasing small updates here and there, any kind small fix is always worth installing.
4. Pancakes.
The increase in color space is becoming more apparent when comparing outputs for 360 HDMI and PS3 HDMI. Because the PS3 is able to open up the color space and enable the full range of RGB color, you are not just seeing just a darker picture. You're seeing more reds, blues, yellows, blacks and whites.
If you can't see the difference in the picture below. You need your eyes checked.
PS: 360 output via Component may enable more color than you would see using HDMI, but o...
I said it before, and I'll say it again...
Bioshock does not deserve the praise it has been getting.
Edit: Especially the PS3 version.
Ahem, to whom it may concern, I am aggressively penning this comment in regards to the the multitude of comments above mine. It seems many of you like to glance at the article heading and start writing a witty quip that makes no sense what so ever.
A. The article is a rumor.
B. The article should be relabeled "*NextBox* Backwards Compatibility Rumor"
C. If this were true... it would mean the Xbox 720 hardware design will not be that big of a le...
Is that Sigur Ros in the background?
Approvists should be shot.
In this case, it doesn't really matter...
6/6 = 100% = 10/10 = 5/5 = 42/42 = 135654/135654
Obviously the maintenance pertains to the new 2.5 update. No biggie for me though, I planned on logging out of PSN anyway when I play Dead Space. I don't want ANY distractions.
If a PC is infected with those Antivirus adware, it only takes 5-10 minutes to clean up your PC.
My parents aren't too smart with computers, last year they caught AntiVirus 2007, took me 10 minutes to fix. Then three weeks ago they caught AntiVirus 2008, that only took me 5 minutes to fix...
Viruses are only susceptible or harmful to the PC illiterate.
Who's idea was it to call the new dashboard "New Xbox Experience"?
Everyone I know calls it the new dashboard... Xbox Experience makes it sound kinda corny.
Are an idiot.
A demo would be nice for those of us who want to see if they can handle the scares. Not for me though, I'm a man who likes his horror.
Congrats to Redwood studios. I expect Dead Space to blow up into a full boar horror franchise that can easily contend with other horror games like Silent Hill and Siren, along with those terrifically frightening horror FPSs from Monolith.
So far this game is getting some solid reviews around 9's and 8.5.
All this does is reassure my day-one purchase. A demo would be nice for those of us who want to see if they can handle the scares. Not for me though, I'm a man who likes his horror.
Congrats to Redwood studios. I expect Dead Space to blow up into a full boar horror franchise that could easily contend with old school horror games like Silent Hill and Siren, along with those horror FPSs from Monolith.
Firstly, Whats with the hat?!
Secondly, he bought Iron Man?!?! He also holds up Silent Hill, implying that he would beat yo *** in that game too. Ha!
Third, he shows off a beautiful white PS3. That's fine and dandy, but then he smashes the PS3 saying "No one plays Playstaion"... I could have sworn I was just playing Warhawk with a few of my PSN friends... hm, oh well...
Lastly, "real talk"... you can't go online saying you can beat a...
I've always liked getting updates, big or small. I think of it like Sony is setting up a banquet for the users. Why wait to dine until the whole table is full of food, when we can enjoy each entree when they become readily available.
Is this another "PS3 Sucks" article? I really don't have the time or patience to read another one :/
Edit: Never mind, I just read it... -_-
Unfortunately, you can tell Insomniac has borrowed from some other notable multiplayer games (COD4 mainly). This would be fine and dandy, but they do it wrong. Each bullet landed on an enemy earns you points. Good in theory because this enables you to get points for almost killing someone. For me this makes actually playing the game really cheesy. Instead of seeing blood or physical hurt to the other player like most FPS games do, it looks like your just feeding bullets to the numbers on an e...
