Some people dont want to buy pcs but they want to play Microsoft games so they'll buy an xbox.
They set the bar high with Forza Horizon 2 and its a nice refresh from the constant track sim racers.
Turn 10 and Playground have set the bar high and continue to prove why they're the best racing devs in the business.
Some consumers don't want to go out and start gaming on pc.
So if they want to play Microsoft exclusives they will buy an xbox.

In my opinion Microsoft had a solid line-up shown. And the fact that dates were attached to almost all of them, the latest being 2017. Hats off to them I guess, they had a good conference.
Still enjoyed Sony conference more, dont care that some of those games shown are probably 2018. I like to see new cool experiences and sonys conference showed that.

Not at first maybe, all depends on the price point really.
If its 499-599 it will get a first week jump with the hardcore fans then simmer down a bunch.
If they launch it at 399 I can see it outselling the older skew because it would only be $50 more expensive.
To hit that price point this holiday though and sell it at a profit/even the power would have to significantly less compared to the scorpio.

I dont see it that way, sony and microsoft just saw where the market was headed and they both want to get a 4k machine out before it becomes standard going forward.
This game has the potential to be amazing.
