I'd argue that its not as important as it once was.
Wii U, in my opinion, has the best exclusives compared to xbo and ps4. And that was a massive flop.
Combined with the fact that multiplat games continue to outsell exclusives games on that respective platform.
Also factoring in online numbers, The most played online games on ps4 are all third party games.
I really think the value of exclusives has decreased ov...
Pretty much, this is probably the 30th article on the topic but it all comes down to one thing.
This Xbox Play Anywhere initiative Microsoft hasn't started yet, and it starts September 13th with Recore.
So the only thing we can do now is wait and see what happens which we'll know more about a year from now.
Someone on neogaf did.
I think it looks rather cool.
Good to see some logical responses here.
Yes I'd say neogaf is where you'll mostly get more objective discussions on topics compared to everywhere else on the internet, my main source for gaming discussions now.
Its not perfect by any means but they have a strict selection process of who actually gets let in to post, which weeds out most of the immature trolls you find in your standard n4g/youtube/ign comment sections.
And I'...
Sad to hear, he was a great personality for the company.
Nice, must be a great moment for the team.
sorry meant to say steam
Valve the company isn't a monopoly but their storefront is.
The two other competitors, GoG and Windows Store have very little market share to be of any relevance.
These last years I feel like they've been sort of spinning around unsure on where to go.
Things like cancelled projects and shutting down studios then suddenly decide to do late pc ports.
All this i feel left more questions then answers.
Then at e3 they detailed a rather "clearer" plan going forward.
Maybe, but i think they're trying to grow their xbox ecosystem and in turn simultaneously grow win10 and xbox ones.
And like I said above, we will get a better picture of if this is working or not by around this time next year.
LOL I guarantee you this will have 0 impact on valves position in the pc gaming, there's been other things in the past that people have said "damanged" valve but yet steam continues to grow in popularity.
They have a monopoly, so they really don't need to care about this stuff.
The only thing this scandal does is decrease the value of csgo lotto, less people will be using the service going forward.
N4G probably makes up like .00001% of the gaming community and most people posting here are fanboys.
To put that in obvious perspective it means everything said here is not at all indicative of what the general gaming consumer thinks and n4g voices hold very little value.
He easily has the funds to buy another one.
And I know the feeling, I used to throw rage fits during the Halo 2-3 online days.
Luckily I matured somewhat and grew out of that phase.
I think the writer makes some very poor points here.
Enough for me to think this was mostly "Hey I'll write an article to fuel the fire in the fanboy war" because of actual substance of the article is rather weak.
LOL typical n4g, overreaction and exaggeration on such a small inconsequential thing.
At least now they have a clear vision on where they're going and they detailed that at e3.
Whether or not it will work or not is now the real question.
I think 6tf wont be very expensive come holiday 2017
I think amd already has a card thats around 5.8~tf and its only 200 bucks.
I could very much see them hitting 400 and breaking even come next holiday.
fixed lol
I think the funniest thing is they were promoting it as an esports game before it even developed any sort of competitive playerbase.
Lol its funny how many articles get written using neogaf insiders as the source.
That being said, of course it's coming. But they'll announce it closer to release for obvious reasons.
