When you see how the market has responded to these "shared world games" the sales have been very strong.
Combined with the fact that AC Black Flag was also very well received and people have been asking for a pirate game.
Then combine the fact that a AAA pirate games is not a saturated genre. This will be coming out at the perfect time.

I thought what was shown on the Microsoft Conference looked rough and janky.
But then I see the game played in other sections and it looks "ok"
So idk, I'm going to play the wait see approach on this one. See how it reviews and the general reception before I pick it up.

If it came out this year i'd say it would be $599
But as tech continues to evolve by holiday next year the scorpio will most likely only be as powerful as a "mid-range" pc

I feel like people wanted a new crash game and you ended up getting him in Skylanders, notice how no one clapped after that lol.
VR experiences are just that, experiences. They needed full games to really sell the their VR and they barely spent any time on it. It's supposed to be their big hardware this holiday and they almost showed it as an afterthought.

Forza 7 will def be a big Scorpio showcase for sure.
We have to assume Halo 6 will also be built for scorpio but that game is still way off.
Whats interesting is Microsoft is deliberately telling some people not to buy an xb1 this year and sales will indeed suffer.
But on the flip side this gives dev time to build out amazing looking games. Microsoft E3 2017 is going to have a big Scorpio Game showcase.
I thought the South Park bit should have been toned down a bit for the main stage.
I understand South Park is about edgy humor but the bit about banging the mom should not have been on the main stage.
I have to say and I'm not even a racing fan.
But that was an extremely good pitch on stage for this game.
