I'm very curious to see how this plays out. Microsoft instead of trying to push consoles through exclusivity are trying get costumers to invest in their ecosystem and similtaniously build out win 10 and xbox one.
Regardless of if it's a failure or catches on its going to be fun to watch to see where this goes.

Makes sense. I was wondering how they could be creating a service like game with huge ambitions like Sea of Thieves and while creating 2 other games. With onlyr around 200~ employees.
To put that in prospective the division was made by 300 people and that was criticized for lacking content how does rare tend to make a bigger game with less employees?

I havent been a fan of 343 story telling since they took over the franchise. Some things were decent like halo 4 (kinda) and Hunt the Truth. But besides that I think 343 story telling has been borderline trash.
I have almost zero expectations that this tv show will be any good.

From my understanding Neo wont be able to support true 4k and even the Scorpio which is 6tf will struggle to hit 4k 60fps on AAA games without some sacrifices.
ey maybe its just me but I find these current gen systems to be a little lackluster.
Not only were they serverly underpowered compared to current standards, one runs like hot coal and sounds like a jet engine and the other one looks like a giant ugly black box with huge power brick.
Its like really........this is the best that they could do?
But judging by sales I guess people really didn't care.
Its such a cool idea its a wonder why it took so long for these major companies to officially support it.

Tad bit of an overstatement here.
If anything I think this game not generating a lot of buzz for a new "EPIC" game.
I think the fact that they're already entering a saturating market combined with the muddled reception of the beta.
But I could be wrong, this game could be amazing when it releases.

Yeah the big question is the ps4 already runs rather hot under intense gaming any smaller i'd be a little worried. Also its not the quieted console around.
They must have redone the form factor while being able to deal with these problems^^
Curious to know the reasoning behind the slim ps4 design.
My guess is they found a way to make the form factor smaller while cutting costs on parts, because ps4 is already slim as is.
So this means they're releasing 2 skews this holiday, I predict very strong sales, and it further makes Andrew Houses statement of "we plan to sell 20m ps4s this quarter" hold true.
Sony doesn't need any tricks. They're doing very well for themselves.
We'll see later down the road if console sales start to stagnant what sonys move will be.
I find most games that get praised by critics to be mediocre.
I feel like this game is flying under the radar. Will be interesting to see sales and also the general reception.
And yet these publishers are making bank on microtransactions. And when all these companies care about is money. It's going to continue to happen.
Its really as simple as that.
And the only way to stop it is vote with your wallet but people obviously aren't doing that.
Honestly it comes from the atmosphere and environment and constant sense of tension.
Because when you really break it down, all you're basically doing is running right and climbing up stuff and pushing stuff around. There isn't some complicated control scheme.
But everything outside of controlling the character is amazingly crafted to keep it engaging.
