I could see Scorpio having better framerate for single player content but not for multiplayer. Because you could argue that 60fps give you a competitive advantage against 30fps players.
This probably means that maybe in the future 1080p xbox one games the dev might move down to 900p just bumb it to 60fps to keep it in line with the Scorpio version.
The problem with a lot of n4g members is their limited perspective on things.
Guys not all people are pc gamers and never plan to be. There's a huge casual crowd out there who dont want to deal with buying 1k pc rig to play games.
Those people are will continue to buy consoles and some will buy xboxs. Why people cant see that on here is mindblowing.

I think you're overvaluing exclusives in this day and age and I'll give some examples.
The wii u has been a colossal failure despite having a very solid exclusive line-up.
Also look at the numbers. The top online games played on ps4 are all multiplat games. Not only that, the top selling games for ps4 are mostly all multiplat (and htis is just factoring in the ps4 numbers for those games and not overall sales for ps4,xbo, pc.)

Microsoft is positioning themselves to build out an ecosystem and turn xbox into more of a service.
This initiative has barely started so it's hard to tell if it'll work or not.
I think you'll see smaller indie and middle tear devs release in the store. But right now it's just not profitable because the store has such low marketshare.
However a year from now when Microsoft releases a lot of their AAA first party titles in the store we'll see if it has gained enough marketshare to be more appealing to these devs. Right now we just dont know.

Honestly they already own the European market. So why spend resources and money there if most people will continue to buy your stuff either way.

It really is. Because it could either fail horribly or potentially give huge growth to Microsofts gaming division and I'll give some examples.
1. Bigger Game/Online communitys. The bigger the games community the bigger mindshare it has and the bigger replay value it brings. So this means more people buying dlc and micro-transactions and increase in word of mouth to grow sales (which is underestimated sometimes).
