No Serious Sam 2? Damn
Does this jerkoff live in the Sudan, or something?
Maybe Sony is discriminating against people who live in dirtier than typical climates?
GT5 will come out, when it comes out. FORGET any internet release date, even from Polyphony Digital, you may encounter, until then.
They never meet their professed released dates.
Prologue release date, however, is a little more believable. No US release date has been confirmed. All rumor
they liked it, they just didnt give it the A ratings that most everyone else did.
I would have bought this game, but, when they put it out without Force Feedback, they lost me. Granted, it was released just prior to the Immersion settlement, but, a settlement was highly expected at the time. The screwed up.
a very thorough review. nice
seems high $$. Forza 2 is so thirsty for add'l tracks, I guess they feel they can get it. :/
I wonder if 3rd party manufacturers like Logitech, will be releasing their rumble controllers to the US soon, even prior to the official Sony controllers? I prefer Logi's wireless controllers anyway.
There will be rumble to all cars, and levels of damage to different vehicles, based on PD's agreements with car manufacturers(in story)
Most people probably have never raced with a decent wheel, so they stick with the controller, whether it be because of cost, or whatever. But, yeah. Once you play a driving sim with a quality wheel, like the DFP, you NEVER go back to a hand controller. Its THAT much better.
Does Sony need to do a firmware update for these new controllers to work?
Are firmware updates released regionally?
If so, then I guess importing or buying online would be moot.
I would personally like to see the addition of true upscaler hardware, for all the non 720p HDTV owners.
G25 isnt wireless, is it? Im curious to know if Logi is making it for them. They make the best wheels.
Id have to physically see it first, tho. The clamping structure reminds me of the wireless MS wheel, which doesnt seat very well, IMO.
Also, are the pedals metal, like the G25. Hard to tell. Also didnt see if the wheel has paddles, like Logi does.
Really, the Porsche threads, is the only selling point, and wireless, if it works decent. Other than that, Id spend ...
Actually GT4 DID disappoint GT fans. Ive been playing GT series since GT2. I have the DFP wheel/rig and although I enjoyed certain aspects of GT4, it definitely disappointed me, and SO many other GT fans. The tons of threads at the GT boards went on and on about it. I wont bother listing all its disappointments.
That said, besides better graphics/sound/physics/A.I., they go back to the gameplay, that made GT2 and 3 great.
rumored track list:
Suzuka Circuit
Eiger Nordwander
London city track
Fuji speedway
Daytona speedway
"GT5's Physics engine couldn't even come close to Forzas."
Another dumbass post, that makes comparisons on a game that isnt even out yet. How the hell do you know what GT5's physics will be like?
I have Forza 2, and I like it. But, to say that its way beyond even GT4, is silly. Yeah, its better that GT4, but, it should be. Wait until GT5 is out before you form an opinion, pro or con.
Im more into driving sims, than arcade racers. It looks decent enough, but, whats up with the guys driving?
I dont recall ever seeing this many instances of what a game is supposed to cost, not cost, have, not have, and so on, than what Ive seen with Gran Turismo 5/Prologue.
Im done reading articles posted on GT from this site and others.
Tard :/
There are rumors that this next installment will be more of an arcade racer, than a racing sim, as in previous versions. I certainly hope not.
