Kind of a non-story.
Dont ever take probably's/should/maybe's as definites, when it comes to PD. They've made a lot of claims before, that never panned out.
Im more of a sims racer. I use Logi's DFP wheel. Ive completed GT3 & 4, Forza 2, and TOCA 2/3. I agree Forza's problem was too few tracks, but, aside from that its still a great game. Hope GRID isnt too arcadey, like NFS series, as far as physics go. TOCA series has been excellent also.
Besides putting a DTS-HDMA movie in, selecting that track, then hitting select button on your controller to see it, you can go to PS3 Settings->System Info, I believe its called, and you will now see DTS-MA listed
Yes, no need for you to do anything. Just select DTS-MA within the BlueRay disc while viewing.

I got this AVR about a month ago. Highly rated for those who are looking for a below $500 receiver. I bought it for $450, and its under $400 now. I recommend it.
DTS-MA/HD announced with this upgrade. Nice!

kind of a foolish article. THats why I dont bother with leader boards. Everyone knows you dont base your time against another, unless you have a replay to make sure they didnt bounce or go more than 2 tires beyond the tarmac.
I dont have a problem with the Yellow hues, as all shots are the same track which appears to be set at dusk(yellow skies would make sense then).
However, the screenshot blur isnt a very "selling" shot. I wouldnt have even used these shots if I were CodeMasters. I was disappointed in TOCA3's final visuals, based on what they put our prior to. Polyphony did the same thing with GT. Hopefully, the full game will look bettr than these shots.
Of course you will be able to do that with GT5--not with prologue.
I REALLY wish theyhad setups as an option. This game is sounding more like an Arcade racer, which, is not very appealing. Codemasters is going to regret this decision.
They're losing the serious sim crowd, for the arcade crowd that apparently didnt care much for the current crop of Arcade racers. What a shame :(
looks amazing. Is this slated for PC platform? If so, I guess thats another game they made that I wont be able to play :(
I dont like it. I expected something closer to the G25 :(
I have the DFP, and it looks very similar, other than the two dials on the column. I cant see any current DFP or G25 owners buying this.
Im surprised they didnt implement a clutch pedal, like the G25. The G25 appears to be the best right now. If I had no wheel I might opt for this on, but, the DFP is $50 cheaper, and without getting more details of this one, doesnt appear to be inferior to this one. :/
I didnt even look at the review. Did this review say the PS3 needs to be "saved"? lol
THe PS3 is and will do just fine. 8 out of 10 is about right for a beefed up demo. The full verion will be killer.
Im not so sure that this article is any more credible than any other article that mentioned the Feb 19th date being correct.
Oh well. Hopefully my copy from Playasia is waiting at my doorstep when I get home today.
Maddens,
It took months away from my life too! I got the Nurburgring demo. I bought GT4 Prologue, GT4 Chinese final version just to get it a couple months earlier than US, and the final US version. I built my rig for GT4, along with a couple others for friends.
In regard to the Skylines, I love skylines, I just didnt think we needed 50 version of em ;), especially the road models.
I achieved 100% completion 3 times with GT3. I did it once with GT4.

Btw, as far as the article goes, Id have to strongly disagree ...
article was much to do about nothing.:/
GT4 came out in Japan in Dec 2004. Thats 3 years ago.
THe other thing, how is it that people can claim that Forza 2 physics(I own both consoles, including Forza2 btw) are better than a product that isnt even out yet, to compare?
I have an older HDTV that only supports 1080i. I have both consoles, so if a game comes out that is 720p, Im forced to go with the 360 version, because of it.
I bought my PS3 before I did the 360. One big reason I bought the 360, is because Sony kept putting out games at 720p, when they claimed 1080i/p would be the norm, PRIOR to the consoles release.
So I was screwed.
For a company that claims they planned on taking a bath on the hardware, and making it ...
