Im pretty old too bro--47. Btw, if you havent checked out this free site, and you still get a kick out of the old 8bit Nintendo games... http://nintendo8.com/all
Well thats a shame if it in deed is a departure from its Sims root, and leaning more towards an arcade racer. I didnt even know Turn 10 wasnt doing it.
Out of his 3 critiques, I would mostly agree with the combat getting to repetitive at times. I personally dont mind linear games. It all comes down to taste, and how much free time you have, I guess. He starts out saying that overall the series is top-knotch, but, just could be better. Nothing wrong with criticism, imo.
I dont need no more stinking cars. I wish they would focus on giving us(albeit paying for it) the big tracks omissions that we expected and didnt get on their first Bluray GT version. Too many glaring omissions.
First of all, there is a difference between Racism and Prejudice. Racism is the inherent belief that one race is superior to that of another. You can prejudge a person based on their race, but, not feel that persons entire race is inferior to that of yours. We all prejudge in some for or another. Obviously believing in racism in its purist sense, is just uneducated. That said, the writer gets a bit to PC for me. Waste of my read.
Free? Whats free? Regardless, Im a GT5 and Forza fan. I have both consoles. Im mostly playing GT now tho. I dont care about the addition of cars, but, have been waiting patiently for addl tracks.
That said, Im disappointed in Motegi. There are too many better GT tracks that were omitted and still havent been added. (MIDFIELD PLEASE!). If PD wants to keep this game fresh and make a few bucks, they should focus on what most fans want, and thats TRACKS. ...
Ive owned the wired Trittons which sounded decent, but, the wires were a hassle. Ive found Turtle Beach to be a bit over-rated for the price.
I bought a $99 Wireless Logitech F540 headset and for the money, I think its the best option for those of us who have both Xbox and Ps3 consoles--it works on both, wirelessly. It has independent voice and game volume rollers. Decently constructed.
Im probably in the minority, but, I wish they would keep Zombie maps simple. Moon was ridiculously tedious. The classic maps from WaW, particularly Der Reise, is my fav. THAT formula, just in different environments is fine by me. I dont all that other crap that Bops zombies introduced, with the exception of some weapon adjustments. I dont need some scientist running around trying to steal my perks. I also like the classic maps because theres a camping spot, as opposed to every...
until Midfield is available along with some core TRACKS that made the GT series, I will be disappointed in GT5 as a whole. I have both sims. I started out with GT2 and have purchased ever series, every prologue, even the early asian releases just to have it a month before the US release, so Im not some pro forza basher. But theres too many track omissions that still bother me. Just my opinion. For those who love it as is, thats cool too.
I have both consoles. Count me in as one of those PS3 console owners, who uses it mostly for movies, rather than games. Unless its an exclusive like UC3 or Gran Turismo, I tend to buy cross-platform games for my Xbox. Why? Im not totally sure. I have a 1080p plasma TV now. Prior to this, I had an older 1080i HDTV that didnt do 720p, therefore, when a game came out with its highest rez being 720, I would go Xbox cause of the upscaler built into it, rather than...
I played the hell out of GT3. The best thing GT4 had over GT3 was 1080i (albeit upscaled) implementation. GT3 was harder and just more fun to play, imo.
GT5 was such an incomplete game upon release. Im happy about this update, but, part of me is pissed that things like game saves(particularly for endurance), interiors for the bulk of the cars, slot for multiple car setups, are just now getting in. I got into sims with GT2 and have gotten every GT series since then, including the imported version just cause they used to be released earlier than in North America, so Im not a GT basher. Just not as in love with PD as I used to be.
What a poor list. How can you not mention Undying. Must be under 20 yrs old I guess
I like the other one
Yeah, that design looks extremely badass.

or Sony could come out with a PS3 model that plays PS2 games, like the original PS3. That would sell

It would be nice to see ID Software back in the game.
They havent had a true impact game in awhile, and given their history, Im pulling for them.

I thought the article was a fair assessment. Ive been a GT fan since 3.
