Oh? So now Dualshockers are also "nitpicking critics with no prior expertise in journalism"?
I could also go ahead and judge gamers who wagon jump into insulting any website who doesn't favor their games of choice. It's ridiculous, specially when it comes to a game like Dying Light. It might not be bad, but it's still just another game in a stale genre of video games, you can't expect to have anyone fall head over heels for a zombie game nowadays, sp...
"Frame rate is very good"
It better be rock solid. The game is already running at sub-1080p and 30fps.
@PhantomDisagrees
Oh I'm so sorry if I offended any letterbox 24fps "cinematic feel" supporters out there. I don't know about you, but if the game is already aiming for sub-1080p and 30fps, I'd at least expect it to achieve a constant 30fps.
I'm not saying anything bad about the quality of the game. But at the end of the day, it's still a 13 years old port of a 15 or 16 years old game. $20 is inexcusable.
What you're saying is, it's excusable for a lazy cash grab rerelease to be overpriced as long as the game is good enough for you?
Where is that article about The Order 1886 representing things that are wrong with gaming? Because I find this ideology to be much more dangerous to the industry.
It's cool that you enjoy Resident Evil, but when a game is overpriced, it's just overpriced.
Let's recap, alright?
-People claim CAPCOM are money-leeching bastards.
-CAPCOM shamelessly announces the RE Gamecube remake is getting slapped on HD graphics at standard digital release price.
-People fall for the nostalgia inducing, overpriced game.
Yeah, it's a massive victory for CAPCOM alright. Well done again gaming community!
Yeah, this could actually end up being pretty big!
Let's hope we finally get a peek at DOOM 4 and Fallout! A new Elder Scrolls would be very much appreciated but I find it unlikely.
Now that I think about it, wasn't Dishonored also published by Bethesda? Maybe we'll get some more of that too.
I don't get people's obsession with MGS1. Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake is arguably a better game gameplay-wise, and it would actually be wise to remake both MG1 and MG2:SE, as The Phantom Pain is pretty close chronologically. Besides, MGS1 already received a remake on the Gamecube, wether Sony purists would like to count it or not, and both versions of MGS1 are 3D and have voice acting. A remake at this point is uncalled for.
The list needs Fire Emblem and Bravely Second, and speaking of FE, does anyone know anything about the development of SMTxFE?
Speak for yourself, want this game badly but don't have either an Xbox One or a 360...
Out of curiosity. How would having Lara running around naked make the game any better? That'd be distracting as hell. Way to show your 12 y/o mentality :/
Darn! Does the game come packed with 7 voice language options or what?
Jesus, those numbers are insane!!
Cool. I'm dying to see the tournament mode already though.
Will get Monster Hunter, but I need to beat most games in my backlog before attempting to play a game so life consuming.
30fps with dips AND screen-tearing? On my PS4?
No thank you. Make framerate your priority next time.
I love ME as much as any other RPG fan, but the game was too buggy and had obnoxiously boring stuff like wandering cluelessly with the Mako just to find stupid minerals. Item management and point allocation system also needed some work done.
My point is, ME can be topped, yet I don't have such high hopes after the original trilogy ended so poorly.
DK64 did it right! Donkey Kong and Jetpac are both so addicting!
Muscle March......... Yep.
On a serious note, they should start with Wii exclusives that are rarely sold at retail anymore. Like Fire Emblem or Zack & Wiki.
All things considered, $40 for the Metroid Prime Trilogy is a steal anyway.
Really? I mean... Really?!
I understand the game looks really good, but 1920x800 Is not 1080p.
