I don't agree with these guys being terrible at console development, because I take it that the X360 version of TW2 was pretty much flawless, considering the hardware, but... My God, has this game been a mess since day one.
I've been waiting mostly for patch that fixes the PS4 version's ridiculous frame rate drops. And then comes this damn patch and pretty much middle fingers all console users in general. I'm actually starting to lose hope at this point. If th...
Yeah, well... He'll turn in his grave alright, since Konami is likely to produce more Metal Gear *related* garbage after MGS5.
You wanna know the best part about it? Half the people who say they won't support the franchise without Kojima are still going to buy the damn games like hypocrites. Mark my words.
It's actually My favorite Metal Gear, let alone one of my favorite video games ever.
Poorly written my buttocks! If anything, it's arguably the best conclusion to a video game saga ever. That goes for both its story and gameplay (which I still find innovative to this day!).
Peace Walker, on the other hand, raises a lot of eyebrows regarding the technology already present at the time when you consider the events of both MG1 and MG2:SS. But aside from ...
Completely agree. U3 has some real pacing issues. Not to mention, the story doesn't hold its own against its precursors.
Uncharted 1 and 2, though, are a must-play.
Off topic (kinda): For those who own a Vita, I also recommend Golden Abyss. It's not as good as Uncharted 1 and 2, but it's way more fun than 3, if you can master its somewhat sloppy controls.
Persona 5, Xenoblade X, and Fallout 4.
Oh boy, oh boy. This fall is gonna be incredible for us RPG fans!!!
Tried it day 1. Couldn't see what the fuss was all about, since it does nothing that hasn't been done before. It's not a bad game, by any means, I guess, but darn is it generic as hell. Being an MMO game with overpriced crap doesn't help.
This is one of those collections that would actually make sense to release.
So did I. Probably the scariest gaming experience I've ever had.
BTW, f*** Konami.
Fingers crossed that Bethesda will get the game running properly on release. I'll gladly spend my holidays playing Fallout 4, but only if the game actually works.
Off topic:
I just noticed that I suddenly got 10 bubbles. Has this happened to anyone else? I used to have 5.
Will keep this one on radar, for sure! That PS4 cover art looks gorgeous!
Geometry Wars and Styx for me. Might also try Rain and Entwined later on.
All in all, this isn't such a bad month, compared to what we've gotten as of lately.
"to raise $13,500 that will go to the Indie Development studio that you, our N4G users, will vote for after Indie Game Month 2015 is over."
Cool!
EA better not f*** this one up.
Battlefront already looks more Battlefield than anything else. In fact, I'll wait for the "premium" edition or whatever they decide to call it.
I love them both but, come on, Outlast was filled with jumpscare segments, and it'll only make you lose sleep if you're afraid of blood... Isolation isn't really all that scary, but it's quite more tense, since you're always on edge with the Xenomorph crawling around.
Shh! Don't tell Sony! They might take the game back into development for another 6 years!
In all honesty, while the game is lacking from a technical standpoint since it was primarily designed for PS3, the art direction is gorgeous.
People can bi*** all they want, but the game is already set for a 2016 release date (which is already ridiculous), and I'd rather play the pretty PS3 game I've been hyping for a while than most of the unfinished garbage...
As much as I'm hyping up this game, I'll wait for the inevitable patches.
That's easy! Just take the money from those clueless Wii U owners again! No one will notice!/s
Seriously, f*** these people. Take your subpar simulator wannabe away, no one needs it.
My favorite E3 games were The Last Guardian, Fallout 4, and FAST Racing Neo.
Uncharted 4 is more of the same, which isn't bad, since it's fun, but still just more of what we've already played.
Horizon... I didn't find a single appealing aspect in it, except for its graphics and concept. Same reason I never got what was it that made some people enjoy The Order 1886.
Stylized? Come on, that's not an excuse for the awful texture works... And being sharp just makes it all worse!
Though it seems to hold a steady 60fps, and yet, I know they can do a whole lot better than that on Wii U.
Yeah, that's why I mostlt play the 3D Mario games. I mean, Classic Mario is fun every now and then, but the 3D Mario games really spice things up with each installment.
Though, at least Nintendo doesn't try to advertise the Classic Mario games as new, innovative experiences every time they release one. Activision thinks people will just keep drinking their cow's milk after lying about how the next game is gonna change everything...
