I'm a in-between guy myself. I go for the better price. Many physical copies are cheaper than their digital counterpart but a few things to consider.
1. This is true, I found a lot better deals with physical games then with digital on consoles. But with digital games you can account share. My brother in law and I share each others accounts and I have access to his digital library and he has access to mine. We both have access to huge amount of gaming content vice trying...
Platinum games have many titles under their belt and now all of a sudden they're a bad dev? I'm sorry but I think MS is the problem. They closed down Lionhead Studios which was responsible for one of their top IPs (Fable), look what they did to Rare and now this. What's crazy is they are developing Nier and the game looks fantastic and probably had no where near the budget of Scalebound.
it is bad for gaming and it really adds unnecessary pressure to Microsoft at E3. Microsoft should of bit the bullet. Scalebound had a great opportunity to be successful. 2016 ended with FFXV receiving a lot of good reviews and positive feedback from gamers and MS was getting a lot of negative publicity due to having very little Japanese support.
While it's bad publicity it is still publicity meaning many eyes were on them. But instead of taking advantage of it they rei...
And how has just focusing on holiday window worked out for MS? Second consecutive holiday season where PS4 sold the most hardware and software. MS needs to keep themselves relevant all year round, not just holiday season. By that point it's too late.
Platinum has developed lots of games now all of sudden there is an issue. This is one major AAA game in a genre XB1 is deficient in so I don't see why MS couldn't suck it up and continue to march on. Sony brute force The Last Guardian for all of these year and everyone knew the game was going to sell like Uncharted but Sony stuck with their guns and made it happen. Sony delays games all the time but they stick with their guns. They at least give the IP a chance to see if it can be a s...
I don't understand how anyone can see this as understandable. I know this is a business but sometimes console manufacturers have to bite the bullet and push out their games that have been in development for quite some time. Million of dollars have already been spent on this game. Better to finish through and see the response. This game had potential to be a breakout hit. If for anything thing else this would of added to XB1's gaming library and reputation.
@corroios It's not what I believe it's what Microsoft has already stated. If a games multiplayer is 30 frames on XB1 then it's 30 frames on Scorpio. Scorpio is not a next gen system. it is an XB1 one family of consoles. Nothing more. What plays on XB1 will play on Scorpio and what plays on Scorpio will play on XB1 (minus VR).
You are incorrect in saying Scorpio isn't in any connection with Xbox One. In fact it's tied to Xbox one. You will not be seeing any exclusive games (aside from maybe VR) on Scorpio. You won't even see improved framerates for multiplayer. If the multiplayer on XB1 is 30 frames, then the Scorpio version is 30 frames. One ecosystem from software to peripherals (minus VR).
Pro and Scorpio one current gen refreshed consoles. Nothing more.
It's pretty much a Nintendo handheld that you can connect to your TV when not gaming on the go. Don't need to be a PS4 level power to have a proper handheld.
This is a dumb argument to force digitally only especially when it comes to consoles. On PC it's different because you have multiple web sites where you can purchase digital games from. On consoles all digital sales keys are actually just middle men for PSN/XBL store respectively. Whatever the price the game is on XBL/PSN is what you will find digitally.
I bought SFV physically for $30 when it was still priced at $60 in the PSN store. As a Amazon prime member all newly...
What's going to be funny is when the month is over and world wide sales tally comes in, will DR4 have outsold TLG at that point. U.K is just one country in all of Europe and XB1 does not have a huge European presence like the PS4. Than add Asia (specifically) Japan and XB1 has pretty much no presence there.
Long story short, will those jumping on the bandwagon still be around when TLG have outsold DR4 in the global scale or will they damage control making up excuses fo...
The combination of using Guerilla's engine and Sony footing the bill most likely mean this is a playstation exclusive. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Sony owns the IP.
I don't see why some have the view of a PS5 in 2018. The whole point of the console refresh is to extend the generation life cycle without the fatigue of still having launch consoles. Sony is not going to consistently pump out new consoles every 2 to 3 years. Pro will push this generation out for an extra 4 years and anyone with a launch console that is getting fatigued with dated hardware can buy a Pro.
As for console sales, amazing achievement on Sony's behalf. I...
This would be a terrible trend to start.
Don't care what anyone has to say but I'm not supporting Konami anymore. If anything Konami was pretty much Kojima.
Amazing. Kojima and Playstation constantly delivers. Such a great partnership.
The trailer was amazing. It's way out the box and I love the fact that I can't easily guess what type of game or story I'm getting. Lots of games have been cookie cutters of other games. Kojima is using pure creativity and he is not being held back. Being allowed to use two great actors scream that Sony handed him a blank check.
So much for "buh Sony iz teh broke guyz so they gotz no gamez" :(
We'll see at the end of the year or early next year if Sony announces sales numbers for PSVR. We all know Sony has no issue letting everyone know how well their PlayStation products sell when they're selling good.
Wow add another killer game for 2017. Next year is getting stacked. Loving it.
Great read. Thanks.
