Uh how? That's just power talk and word on the street is PS4 won November NPD so most people didn't care about XB1X when it can't even help Xbox platform win a NPD during it's launch month.
Better than most gaming PC is very subjective. Sure you may have XB1X run a game at native 4k 30FPS compared to someone's PC who can't run the same game at 4K 30FPS. But what if that gamer doesn't care to run the game at 4K30 and opts for 1440p 60 for example..PUBG or Assassin's Creed Origins. Is that XB1X still better?
PS5 will easily have backwards compatibility since it will be another X86 platform. It's funny how the fanboys only focus on this gen when the fact is Sony has always supported backwards compatibility (PS2 and PS3). Poor choice in PS3 architecture made it difficult to get BC on PS4 and given how this gen has playout, BC isn't the main reason to buy consoles. But next gen with PS5 being another X86 platform, BC is a given.
Switch's portfolio is looking very nice as time goes on. Looks like Switch will be my secondary platform of choice. I'm a wait for a revision of the Switch. By that time the library will be full of titles to play.
I have to look into this but the I read the phrase "Shadows dies twice" came from one of the Tenchu games said by one of the characters during a cut scene. Maybe there is a play through that shows this cut scene on yoututbe. If that is the case then most likely the game is a new Tenchu game.
Don't see the point in comparing a mobile device versus dedicated consoles unless the mobile device is so powerful it can hang with consoles. other than that, pointless.
It's just weird to see the exclusive vs multiplat narrative. On PS4 that narrative doesn't exist. It's not exclusives or multiplats and it's not exclusives vs multiplats. It's exclusives AND multiplats. PS4 owners gets both with means and over bigger library of gaming.

Let's call a spade a spade. The Xbox one X is for the Xbox enthusiast. It will provide the best Xbox experience for those that want it. Grant it this strategy is most likely not going change things around in terms of lack of exclusives or being able to outsell PS4 and Switch. Have you not noticed that is the last thing they have been doing? They push the big games out early to build momentum throughout the year and to keep the games away from the holiday push of big games. Also anybody that is buying a PS4 during the holidays still has access to buy the game. Just because it came out early doesn't mean it's no longer available for new holiday owners. Horizon Zero Dawn was in the top ten for a bit on Amazon during the week of Black Friday.
Wouldn't be like they're breaking any laws by releasing it on a Thursday. Would be a good marketing strategy to coincide the game on the same date the first one was launched.
A game like this would of been perfect between 2013 - 2015 but now way too many games for me to go back to this.

Interesting considering the fact that despite Switch launching in 2017 and the Xbox One X launching in November, Sony had the best Black Friday in the history of the brand. Nintendo and Microsoft has slowed PS4 down not one bit. If anything, it's getting more successful than ever before.

Absolutely not. Imagine the thrashing and harassment journalists would of received if they reviewed the game in it's current state. gamers out the wood work would screaming from top of the mountain on why journalists are reviewing an unfinished game.

The fact is most want am affordable consoles that does things really well across the board. Good third party support, good exclusives, good services all for a great price. PS4 hits all the wickets.
