Bomberman had jet packs and pong was the first game in history to feature mechs.
I haven't played Titanfall but from all the footage I've seen, it looks amazing. The gameplay looks refreshing. I know there is nothing new under the sun but on the xbox consoles, this is a unique experience. The mechs and jet packs and CoD resemblance may have been seen before on MS machines, but the experience seems to be brand new. I hope I'm right.
MS should have launched the Xbox One with a 1 TB HDD or higher. That way you could keep the console at $500 and justify its price with the fact that the kinect is included and there is twice the hard drive space.
Instead, they were looking to capitalize on selling first party HDDs for an exaggerated price. Just like they did with the 360.
If the kinect is sold separately, how much would it cost? The first kinect cost $150. If they sell it for the same price, it would be nearly three times as much as the playstation camera. How will they compete?
The playstation camera is sold out everywhere. Apparently, people want a camera for their game console. If I'm shopping for a new system and the sales person tells me I can buy the $400 Xbox and then buy the camera for $150 or I can buy the Playstation for $400 and the cam...
This could be the game that gets the CoD/BF4/Madden casual players to really start to look at other genres of games. I say this because the "Dudebro" games are all based in reality. Titanfall has mechs and this May spark an interest in the fantasy that is video games.
As much as gamers say they don't care for the casual gamer, the truth is developers need their money.
I don't see how Titanfall is revolutionary in gameplay but I do see them changing the g...
If your into role playing, I guess this is a decent costume. Should have including the beanie as well. He could be Delsin and she/he could be the naughty naughty bad guy.
I'd love to see the comments of the parents who buy this for their 8 year old kid. You know, the same people that bought GTA V and said "how bad could it be."
Get ready to have that awkward "birds and the bees" talk with your kid.
Maybe things are different in Italy ...
PS+ for PS4 is not as great as it is for PS3. PS4 only gets one free game per month. I understand that the library is limited but when there are many more games on the market, will Sony gives us four PS4 games per month or keep everything the same?
Activision should drop the annual release cycle and just go free to play or make one game and constantly update with DLC every year but keep the core mp game the same. Or release sp game yearly but keep mp the same. That way they will build the community for one game instead of it being segregated.
Sony allows retailers to sell digital codes and sometimes there are sales on the digital codes as well. Microsoft should allow retailers to sell digital codes also.
All my games are digital but I've had to buy xbox cash cards in $20 -$60 increments and then have a remaining balance. I should be able to buy a card for Titanfall for $65.16 or whatever the tax is and be able to preload the game before launch.
Can't find any of these gamer pics
We should also be able to set friend notifications for when a friend starts playing a certain game.
Something like: alert me when creatchee started playing BF4.
Yes, TR is great. I bought it last year on PC but have been starved for games on my PS4 so I picked it up. I never touched the mp on PC but got into it on the PS4. The mp is a nice change from the BF4 and CoD mp.
I'm hoping that games like TLOU, Dark Souls, Bioshock trilogy, Splintercell series get this kind of treatment.
Resident evil 1
Kinect sports. I thought the xbox version of the Vince Lambardi trophy was pretty cool. Although, it seems like the XB1 is the Broncos and the PS4 is the Seahawks right now. Here's to Titanfall turning things around.
My PS4 sounds like a jet engine when playing any game on a disc. Digital games are quiet though.
The Xbox tent on Super Bowl BLVD was pretty cool. I thought it was just going to be madden but as I got closer I saw they had a few other games going. The lines weren't long to play a game but I had a Ranger game to get to at Yankee stadium.
The Order 1866. From first impressions of little to no information, the Order looks to have higher replayability than Quantum Break.
When we get a proper trailer or gameplay footage or, fingers crossed, a demo a proper choice can be made. As for me, I will most likely be getting both.
I agree. I bought it for the PS4 as well because why not get the better version. But I think that it sold better on the PS4 has to do with the fact that there aren't many games for either system. However,XB1 has more exclusives, more varied genres, and people are content with those games right now. PS4 owners may be less content with the available games and bought TR just to have something new which is he reason why I bought it along with the fact that it is an awesome game with an aweso...
It would be nice if I could preorder digital copies or buy download codes from retailers like Amazon or NewEgg like I can for the PS4. Come on MS. Oh and can we please be able to preload games prior to launch a la Steam and Sony.
Thank you
Atari 2600 for me.
On topic though, Apple was saved by Microsoft in the early 80s I believe. MS pretty much gave Apple money to keep going. They understood that competition is good for business. Hopefully MS could do it again or SONY could do the same.
I thought the 1st infamous was ok and the second I couldn't get into or finish. Second Son, though, looks like I could get into plus it helps that Troy Baker is playing g Delsin. I know the decks said that you don't need to have played the first two games to understand what is going on in this one but I would like to know the background anyways. Does anyone have a good source to go to that will give me this info?
