When Microsoft was courting Respawn they should have been looking for a system seller. They should have realized that Call of Duty timed DLC was not good enough and that Titanfall could have been that system seller. They should have had made it a timed exclusive to the Xbox One and then 6 months later, bring it to the PC and 360.

I agree, competitive mp being tagged on is a bad idea if it wasn't part of the initial design. I think a lot of debs just want a piece of the pie that Activision almost has full control over.
Co-op if done right is great but often has a high risk factor in spoiling the main story of the game. It's difficult to play through a full co-op campaign without spoiling the story for someone or them spoiling it for you.

You can modify the headset that came with the xbox to use your headsets instead of waiting for this new adapter. It cost me about $2 but if you can't get access to a soldering iron and solder then you'll need to purchase that as well.

It's easy to pick up and play which means it's easy to get kills and kill streaks. So, the game can make you feel like your really good at it rather easily. It's the same kind of feeling that you get after watching an action hero movie. On your way out the theatre you feel like you know every martial arts move and can kick the butts of 20 people at once.

I want my Beta code now. I need to know that I can play this game on Friday. My Fiancé may be slightly upset with me when I don't go to sleep Thursday night and she wakes up to me with my Gunnar's on, Astro's on, XB1 controller in one hand, an AMP in the other with 5 empty cans of AMP on the end table along with a bag of Funyuns and an empty bottle of 5-hour energy.
Say what you want about Call of Duty but you have to admit it is a fun experience. The story may suck, the mp may me convoluted, the perks may be getting out of hand, but the gameplay is tight at the game is fun. It's easy to pick up and play and because of that it can make you feel like a bad ass. That's probably why millions of people buy it every year.

I emailed Respawn asking if they were allowing retailers to sell digital copies of the game. I also asked how the begat will be distributed. Abbie Heppe responded a few hours later.

I know, I'm kicking myself now. I do have my PC with a solid steam library and some games on Origin to fill the gaps until the consoles start padding their libraries.

I'm getting board of the games I have for both Xbox One and PS4, guess I shouldn't have sold my 360 and PS3. Titanfall looks like it is going to be so much fun. I'm so excited.
I like playing on consoles better than my PC but I signed up for both Xbox One and PC. I'd play on my PC more but it's across the room from my TV. I ran an HDMI cable to my receiver from my PC but playing with a headset and using a wired controller is a pain.
Hopefully, the Xbox One version won't make me miss my PC. I really don't feel like reorganized my entire room to get my PC next to my TV.
I haven't had any problems on the Xbox One after the patch. There have been a few times where the knife sequence seemed laggy. I stabbed someone but they countered and ran away with my tags but I was still fighting for my life against what seemed like a ghost as no one was in front of me. But that was the only problem I've had in about 50 matches.

Amazon and Valve moving into the console game is a good thing. They will push digital sales more than the big 3. This could mean more competitive prices for digital distribution. Plus, there are rumors of MS selling off the Xbox division. Amazon May be that buyer. They might take over the Xbox name or create their own console with the xbox team creating it and developing g for it.
