I always thought that the XB1 without Kinect wouldn't be a good idea but now that it is a reality I think it's the right move. I bought three XB1s at launch and if I had this option to choose Kinect back then,I would have still bought the bundle. I bought one PS4 at launch and would have gotten the camera as well but they were sold out. I just bought a used one for $50 bucks from GameStop even though there isn't much it can do now. However, the main selling point, for me, is the...

How would you record anything without kinect?

Kinect is is a big part of the User experience. Drop the price but keep Kinect. It's helps separate itself from the PS4.

I lol'd. However, I do hope they go first.
Get people talking. Keep'em thinking about Xbox while Sony is on stage.

Hopefully, they bring the kind of info that will make that happen.

I hope so. Having sold my PS3 and 360 to upgrade to the newest models, TLOU is the one game I miss the most. Another game set in this same world with ND creating the story, the relationships. I can't wait for the remastered version to hold me over until this sequels is released.

I have the PS4 and the Xbox One. The PS4 is definitely more powerful yet I bought and play more games on my Xbox One. Why? I like the controller better although the share button on PS4 is nice as well as the track pad. I also like kinect and all it's voice commands. I have the Playstation Camera as well but the kinect is much better. I like the fact that I can control my TV with the kinect. But most importantly, I like the exclusives. The exclusives for PS4 are not at interesting to me,...

It's not gaming related yet. Experiences like these with a VR headset are the building blocks of game design. It's the same as the first animated TV show or movie was a building block of modern day game design.

Borderlands is the reason I think they did it this way.

Unfortunately, I didn't get into borderlands until way after the second one released. When I tried to play, the people I paired up with were much higher levels than me. This made it difficult to play with them unless they joined my game. But then it would be really easy for them.

Reaching the level cap sooner and then searching for gear sounds much better but we will see how it works in real life w...

It seems like this guy was trying to make a name for himself by attacking Angry Joe. There was nothing misquoted and I thought Joe handled this almost perfectly.
I happen to love Titanfall and disagree with Joe's review but I still watch his reviews because he is very honest about what he thinks of the game. It just goes to show that one mans trash is another mans treasure.

This other guy, Dan, is an idiot. There was no reason for the underhanded comment. He sho...

The Xbox One is not going to win in the graphics department. Xbox has to win in other areas like Kinect and the cloud (I know how that sounds). The promise of the cloud and what it can do really needs to be demonstrated. It needs to be better than what Sony can provide.

If MS can show that a game like Destiny is better on Xbox because of what Azure is capable of, then they are right back in the fight with Sony. If their is minimal difference, then those with both systems wil...

My fiancé doesn't play many games, almost none to be honest. However, she is a better gamer than me. If or when she watches me play a game, she is always pointing things out that I don't see or have never noticed.
In fps games, she will point out enemies that I would have never seen. In RPG type games, she will have suggestions that almost always work out better than what I was planning to do. If there is a puzzle to be solved, she will figure it out first but sometimes s...

That section was the worst. Imagine doing it without the kinect. Holding down LB takes forever. I think they need to patch that section for Legendary. It's too hard. It took me days just to get past that one part.

I have gone all digital as well this generation. I have about ten games for my Xbox One and about two for my PS4 excluding PS+ games. However, the original policies were not fair to those without internet. Especially to those who cannot get internet because of where they live. I'm sure they could have found a hybrid theory instead of just dropping the whole thing like they did.
Hopefully they will find a way to make everybody happy. Until then I'll be enjoying my digital ...

I don't think the Xbox One or the PS4 will be able to handle VR on its own. To avoid nausea VR needs to be at 1080p or higher for each eye. The Xbox One is barely reaching 1080p and the PS4 is reaching that resolution somewhat easily but I sincerely doubt the PS4 can double the resolution it's outputting right now.

This is why I believe that the processing power of the VR will be done through a separate box; an attachment or peripheral of sorts. Similar to the 360 HD...

Reminds me of Talladega Nights with the sponsor decal across the windshield.

I'm going all digital this gen. Got MS cashcard ready to go tomorrow night. My nephew, though, preordered the disc at GameStop. Since I'm picking it up for him at midnight, I'm going to install the game with his disc and then buy the digital copy. I'll save myself the several hours of download time for the game but unfortunately I'll have to still download the day one update. Maybe there will. Be a way for us to download the update to a flash drive today or tomorrow and...

I used the bumper jumper pilot control scheme during the beta. It's almost identical to the evolved setting except that the melee is on the right stick and B is to crouch.
The left bumper to jump is invaluable in Titanfall. Especially when your bouncing up an alley to make your way to the roof.

The bumpers could have been less clicky, well, all the buttons could have been less clicky. They're really kind of loud. Also, I had a problem with my controllers li...

This has almost nothing to do with the topic but here it is anyway:

I want to play Titanfall on my Xbox One at midnight when it launches. The problem is that I am buying all of my games digitally this generation. This means that, since there is no preloading on the One, I have to wait about 4 to six hours for he game to download. Maybe even longer.

So, I thought, my nephew is getting the physical copy of the game and I'll be the one picking it up for him...
