games not price cut will move this system. It is a good deal as it is with all the tech inside. I just want to see a mind blowing game to justify the purchase.
its actually hot cakes but pies are good too. I would think that Hot Cakes sell more units in the US than Hot Pies. Japan is different cause they only buy jelly cups which are stomping on both Hot Cake and Pie sales.
It is a betrayal because you didnt get a single AAA befor the price drop. If 360 drops in price now I wouldnt care since I have logged over 1000 hours of play time with wicked games. 360 is a year older so a price drop would be in line and frankley expected. If I bought a PS3 at launch and watched it collect dust waiting for the good games to hit only to watch the price drop after a few months now I would be mighty pissed at Sony. Face it Sony Fanboys got raped.

can get a new sealed and some used 60G PS3 with games and hdmi cables on Craigslist for under $500 Canadian currency where I am If anyone is holding out for a price drop I suggest looking there first. Most major cities have it. Enjoy!
Whoever came up with the idea to use the ps3 as a bluray trojan probably feels pretty good right now. Love it or hate it you have to admit that to come from behind and outpace an already (somewhat) established format in such a short time is damn good business smarts. It may suck for gamers but Sony stands to make more from bluray than with games. Just follow the money.
If you select "all" regions from the pulldown menu on the graph it shows that the 360 is outselling the ps3 globally. Not by much but still winning this console war. The ps3 spiked slightly after european launch then dipped below again shortly after. This is great news as it means more games will come to the 360. This is still impressive for the PS3 as it is selling just as well as 360 with a much higher price point. If they were the same price PS3 would be where the wii is at I am ...
I would buy a PS3 if it didnt suck. Truth is the controller is 2 generations old and digs into my palms with its brutally unergonomic handles. the analog sticks are too close together etc. This never mattered to 12 year olds since they are so used to having cramped hands wrapped around things that are way too small. Games are so far sparse and meh. Xbox reliability is a admittedly huge issue and if mine ever breaks i will be pissed but gaming is about games and 360 has better games right now ...

forza 2 freezes my 360 quite a bit in multiplayer lobby. Anyone else get this problem? I would be curious to know if this is the issue causing failures mentioned in aqricle.
Apple is a rip off. I bought a macbook pro for my wife since her friends have them and i didnt want to saddle her with a turd when she went out to play with them, but I coulda got the same guts in a HP shell for less than half the price. Apple is all hype. At least Sony is not raping the consumer at the price point they chose. I must say apple makes really nice stuff but they charge way too much for it.

they care because unfortunately 98% of multiplatform games are developed on and look and play better on the 360. This isnt because the PS3 sucks, its just a different machine. There are countless comparisons of games that prove this. Only exclusive titles will ever push the PS3's potential which is why Sony needs to put up the cash to keep these games. We all want to see the power of the PS3 shine. I am curious and I am impressed with HS and look forward to seeing what comes out of E3.
People said the exact same thing about Music CD's Look at iTunes. the rest of the industry got left in the dust cause of head in the sand beliefs like yours.
That may be your opinion and here is mine. Forza 2 blows GT4 outta the water and I really loved GT4. GT is not even close to being realistic, you couldnt even really call it a sim. its more like a very detailed arcade racer, which is cool, but it isnt nearly as mind blowing as the level of detail they got into with forza. Sorry.
They played forza 2 and panic set in. i am a huge GT Fan I bought PS1 and PS2 just for those games but Forza 2 is on a whole nother level. The physics the damage the AI the engine sounds the handling it is simply a masterpiece of the genre. I was dissappointed at first with the graphics but that dissappeared after playing it. Its a rush. GT5 will have to match it gameplay wise and put the graphics polish on it to beat it. I hope they do it cause I love driving sims and I am excited to play GT...
