needs to be $100 to have any real impact. You can already get some bundles that include 4 games for free with purchase and that hasnt really moved many consoles. Small incrimental price reduction s do little to spark sales frenzy. they need to do something big that will really get peoples attention. 50$ and a free year of XBL maybe.
The thing I love about this game is that although it is cute it is also graphically stunning it looks almost like claymation at 60fps. My 3 year old is gonna love watching me play this game. i might even let her play. ....some day
One thing that would make the PS3 bluray player better that you dont hear much about is the possibility to update it via the internet. this is a feature i dont believe is standard on other b-ray players but will be soon as it is standard on HDDVD. If I was gonna buy a bluray player the PS3 would win for me hands down.

In Vancouver Canada you cant find them at the major retailers like futureshop and bestbuy. PS3 may not have been worth the launch price at launch but with all the improvements they have made through updates and the PSN looking less like a joke and more like a priority for Sony I think the current price is a steal. If Sony launched the PS3 in its current state I think it would have done much better. Most issues have been resolved. E3 was almost like a rebirth for PS3. Dont hate on me xbox fans...

Guess they gotta squeeze the last few drops outta the poor sales glass before July numbers hit. Really does whoever wrote this think that The new price isnt going to have an effect. I went from thinking maybe next year to probably next month. i bet I am not alone. its no longer about lack of games for me as the games and demos available right now would keep me satisfied untill the big titles hit. Its price and as far as i am concerned they hit a sweet spot for what you are getting.
on my 360. if im gonna put more into PS3 I better quit my job and get a divorce before I pick one up next month.
it doesnt sound good for HDDVD. I got raped too cause I bought the add-on literally 2 days before you could see the ball landing firmly in the bluray court. Thats what I get for jumping in to new tech. Oh well at least my soon to be bought PS3 will comfort me as I bury my add-on. Queue the violins and sad trumpets.

i have noticed lately and maybe because I buy alot of 3d animated toons for my kid that DVD quality is getting better. Disneys "Cars" on DVD upscaled on my HDTV looks almost as good as the HD content I have seen. Almost. I do get that little extra wow with hd content but thats probably just the nerd in me. I have the 360 add-on and will have ps3 soon so I dont really care too much about the winner but I do personally really enjoy the interactive features and extras, without them why...

Best lighting i have seen in any game yet. Nice to see a little more contrast in the newer ps3 offerings. Not my kinda game but It looks like a visual masterpiece. Something for the PS3 fans to hold up in front of doubters, if there are any left.
