no denying this looks amazing. This is what I was waiting for. The only problem for me now is the ps1,2,3 controller which doesnt feel good in my hands. They need to make a controller where you can switch the dpad with the thumbstick depending on the game your playing. Either way i think this is my system seller.

They are unloading the sixaxis controllers like mad to make way for the rumble version. i prefer to pick the games i want however as someone else mentioned these are the two games to get.

xbox360 - 11.6 million in 18 months = 644,000/month average
PS3 - 3.6 million in 8 months = 450,000/month average
If the 360 is doing poorly then PS3 is a lost cause.

I can do the math that way because MS could have done the same thing and focused on territories rather than global launch which lead to shortages everywhere for months. Fact is both consoles are both released worldwide now ...
By august which is less than a year Sony will have had 4 sku's which is half the time it took the 360 to get there.
1) 20 gb which was a flop and phased out
2) 60 gb with hardwre back compatibility
3) Euro 60 gb without hardware PS2 chip for back compatibility
4) 80 gb for 100$ more. (august)

I would prefer console launches to be staggered 3 years apart and alternate. I would think both would do well that way. I like new stuff and 3 years apart would be perfect for owning all systems.
I use the 360 wireless adapter. I host matches with no lag and havent run into any issues yet. I do it because the idiot who built my house has lan outlets in every room except the family room and I dont want to run cables across floors it would interfere with the nice clean setup I have.

in game is different than gameplay. All this means is this shot was rendered using the game engine. Like the Mad world trailer for gears was in game but the game didnt look like that. it was close but not exactly. In game screens always look beter than game play. It does show the detail of the models however that will appear in the gameplay. I hope I described that the way i was thinking. I saw gameplay video today of the beta and it looked wicked. This game will own all games.
i didnt play the beta and i heard rumbling of not greatest graphics but i am impressed with wht i saw in the video. there are so many subtle things like the fluid movement of the character especially on the atv. the environments look great. obviously a must buy for the shooter in me.
