any game possible on one system is possible on the other. I do think the graphics are amazing but there are amazing graphics on the xbox as well. I will own both and play them all while most people will only play half the great games that come on both systems. Your loss.
I am amazed every time i see this game in action. This will move consoles no doubt about that. The enviroments are stunning and the explosions and smoke. Truely next gen. I will grab a PS3 when this drops.

it would be sweet if you could use it to slice other avatars in half. you guys are calling bluray victor this early why shouldnt we call PS3 in the gaming realm a failure this early. Make up your minds is it too early or not. HDDVD is performing about the same as PS3 in relative terms which isnt very well. If it aint over for PS3 then it aint over for HDDVD. The 360 version of The Darkness is better than the PS3 version because shooters wont load on a PS3 cause only RPGs boot on sony consoles PS3 Fanboys dont play FPS's anyway cause those are xbox games only so no one will ever know what it looks like on the RPGS3. These graphics are not great at all. The hair looks plastic the dudes shirt is morphing out of his jacket jaggies all over the place No shadow under the police car, no textures on the clothing etc. and this isnt even in game. I know this isnt final build so I am not saying it wont get better but these shots are not very impressive at all. The game looks like a must have regardless though.
blugay will lose this war. hd dvd is a superior format other than capacity. Ps3 is doomed to follow kutagari out the door. for PS3 owners it really is a lose lose. If bluray wins it will be because Sony didnt release any games sending frustrated BluS3 owners to blockbuster to rent Shallow Hal for the 100th time. If sony comes out with decent games Blu Ray fails cause people will start playing games instead of renting movies.

Both formats are doomed. Unfortunately that puts the PS3 in a bad spot. DVD is crushing both hddvd and bluray.

I have the hddvd add-on but still I havent bought movies for it waitng for the outcome. I dont care who wins just as long as someone does and soon cause hd movies look sweet on my tv.
Either that or cant read. On a positive note. This game always did look good to me and I agree with alot of anti gears comments. The framerates are seizure inducing at times. Its still addictive as hell though. When I get a PS3 I would pick this up too. I would think that this game will keep selling for a long time as the slow but steady uptake of the console continues.
