That cgi is mixed with live action using the movie assets. the fact that the game is even remotely similar is astounding. I think many people are going to be pleasantly surprised with the end product.
They should try marketing it as a next gen paper"wait". Oops they delayed the release of the paper for it. Maybe try holding down that "how to review sh1tty games" manual they sent out. God I am really starting to pity Sony and their faithful supporters its gotta feel bad deep down inside.

Say what you want about the 360 GOTY is going to be Halo 3, Mass Effect, or Bioshock. PS3 doesnt even have a contender. They didnt last year and they dont this year. Next year? Maybe.

Ipod Touch FTW. I have one preordered, reviews are coming in and they are raving about it. Just found a site today called Seeqpod.com puts thousands of songs in your ipod touch for free from any wireless hotsot using the built in safari browser. You cant download them but it streams them. A free program called orbit lets you rip them onto PC though. I have been playing with it on my desktop and it rocks.
Ps3 may be future proof but it isnt past or present proof. Fact is PS3 is only now just starting to get a decent game here and there and most of the PS3 fans are still saying wait till next year. The PS3 is suffering from multiple personality disorder. They announce a new price and or SKU every week. Hyped games get low scores (except HS which does look awesome, new controllers etc. I was waiting for all that to settle down cause I dont like buying the lowest end of a product. As long as sony keeps upgrading the console I cant bring myself to buy. i have been having fun for almost two years with my 360. I know fun is a strange concept for sony fanboys but it is in fact something to be had now not soon or later or when such and such hits and 360 gets pwnzored by games that are delayed for months on PS3. Gimme a break. I am getting a PS3 when its worth it. This is very soon but not quite yet.
The Playstation Fanbase is obviously 12 year old kids with a chip on their shoulders. That is why the high price point is an issue. The economy is tanking in the US so adults arent spending that kind of coin on kids toys. Xbox has the older crowd and thus the price and game catalogue which appeals to older folks is doing a little better at the moment. If the economy was still rocking the PS3 would be selling alot more units. Sony is desperately trying to appeal to older people by touting blur...
These are two great scores for two great consoles and this game is so much fun I have played the demo dozens of times. THPS is dead and has been since v2. For an old skater with brittle bones this game brings back memories of skating 12 hours a day all summer long. Tony Hawk games never felt like that.
That looks annoying to play. The graphics look great though even on the crappy video you can see nice stuff happening with the wings subtly moving in the wind. I bet this game is gonna cause more wrist injuries than a night of porn and cheese doodles.
I would like to try that out. I love rumble. It isnt something you really notice but it does help with shooters. If sony has some new kind of rumble going on that would be cool. If it works well I will be jealous. Most likely be standard for next next gen consoles unless they have some copyright on it with immersion. Rumble with motion could be pretty cool if you felt it go and flinched your character might dodge a bullet. Slick.
