this looks like 360 lighting and contrast which is good, cause it squashes the whole PS3 looks washed out argument people where throwing around, but I kinda prefer the softer lighting and muted tones like in Heavenly Sword.

Do what I do and run your hdmi from xbox to the tv and optical out of the tv to your receiver. The other bonus to this is that you never have to do input selecting on the receiver as its always set to TV. This only works if you have a tv with multiple hdmi inputs and optical out. Shame on MS though for an obvious oversight or money grab. not sure which is worse.

i am salary based for 37.5 hrs a week, however I do receive time and a half for overtime after 40 hours. The extra pay is a great incentive for pushing into the nights and weekends. without it I would just fizzle out and get bitter. $65/hr is decent compensation for working a weekend. that both those scores suck. This game is at the very very least an 8 due to its completely fresh control scheme. Devs need to be complimented for thinking outside the box and EA took a huge risk going up against tony hawk. They absolutely redefined skateboarding games and they need to be recognized for that. I love this game and to me its a 9.5 or 10. This guy probably never skated a day in his life and thats why he doesnt get it.

If you have a plasma or projection tv stay away from this mode. I burnt my screen years ago with rallysport challenge playing widescreen on a 4:3 cause it looked cool. then when watching 4:3 format shows I could still see where the black bars were. Had the tv for only 2 months when it happened. Im gonna have to stretch it to fill the screen and thats gonna suck. Short fat Chief on the loose.
hard to believe this is EA but it really is groundbreaking for the genre. For an old ass skater like me its great to do tricks I could actually do, not 500 foot 720 to smith grind on a telephone wire crap. I love just finding a spot and doing lip tricks slides and generally just sessioning a spot like in real life. If you have ever skated you have to pick this game up, 9/10 is a much deserved score. My only hope is that they put the same magic into a snowboard and surfing game.
After Gears of War this game is just not totally doing it for me. It is fun and fast and frankly easier than the last 2 halo games. The graphics are nice but the jaggies (on the ships in the sky mostly) are a little dissappointing for this day and age. I do really love the jungle environments the lighting is superb and the draw distance is the best I Have ever seen. That said I have been dying to get back from work to finnish cause it is a fun game. Its not a 10 its a 8.5 But it still blows...
All the games suck on PS3. I noticed whenever the Sonytards talk games they list a bunch that havent come out yet and omit the ones that eventually did come out and sucked (lair anyone) With the exception of Warhawk PS3 hasnt produced a console seller yet. 360 had Gears within a year and COD2 on launch is still a favourite among many of us.
