Your experience with friends list is the same as mine. Halo has always been great as local split screen multiplayer with friends at home drinking beer and I will still play it that way. The whole run gun die respawn over and over is repetetive and boring in my mind. I prefer smaller 4vs4 matches up close and personal like gears. Dying from a bullet fired from 2 miles away is lame. I can hold my own in Halo MP but I just dont care.
That is one huge price cut. I expect these bastards to fly off the shelf here for the first time ever since launch. that amounts to two extra games and an extra controller. Gonna make alot of happy kids on xmas day in Canada.

PS3 owners are used to delayed games. Xbox games tend to come out on schedule with very few exceptions ie Too Human. I am not flaming really its just a general observation. I could be wrong. It would be interesting to see a list of proposed release dates and actual release dates after the games came out. There has got to be a bored fanboy out there who wants to compile this useless list.....Then again why mess up this site with facts when rumours rule this place.
Halo 3 got less than 10 hours of my time. 7 hours for campaing and a few MP matches. I am so bored of it already and went back to gears of war cause it is simply a much better game. Its too bad that much better games got fallout from the halo hype machine. I hear it alot online in gears that people are dissappointed in halo 3.

the xbox 360 had no competition. That is false. Even though not released the PS3 was competition. Many people waited to see what the ps3 would be like before buying either console. That is one of the reason sony lied and kept pushing back release dates to string fence sitters along. The fact is that once PS3 was released and people saw it wasnt uber l33t the sales for 360 increased dramatically.
