After playing Resistance FOM for the first time in almost a year last night I came to a couple of realizations: a) RFOM is better than I thought its just the first chapter that was slow. b)RFOM multiplayer is the most under rated MP game ever (it rocks as good as halo mp any day of the week)the graphics are really good and the enviros are huge. c) the controller is actually good for shooters

the 360 version edges out ps3 simply due to slightly better grass texture in centre field. in the 360 version there is more realistic dirt patching right smack in centre field, other than that they look identical. No console pwns the other here but EA sucks so who cares.

These graphics are crap. KZ2 will own this. The hand on the rifle looks last gen to me, I felt that way about bioshock as well.
with the thumb sticks where they are its kinda like rolling a joint when your using both of them. Seriously though i prefer the 360 pad but its really a personal thing, I didnt mind the ps controllers on ps1 and ps2 but I had smaller hands in those days, now i find they dig into my palms and the triggers are too slippery. Ps controller is better for driving and sports games 360 pad is better for shooters. I have both so I just choose games geared for the controller.

I really liked this ad. It could mean alot of things. It could mean in xbox land you could be anything you want like a musician. the fact that people might not know of Rockband is not essential to the point of the commercial. Camera movement seems a little ridgid to me but that is merely a personal thing and probably just because I am not playing it just watching, the environments are beautiful though, this is miles better looking than R1, love the subtle camera focus too. Gonna be an expensive winter all around. Gears R2 Killzone, Im in shooter heaven. I love massive boss battles!
I have not bought nor rented a single movie. I get hi def content daily and I have a hard drive full of great movies and tv shows I recorded. Digital distribution via internet connection may not be viable but cable and satellite plus on demand is decent and the image quality looks way better than dvd. Not as good as bluray but definately good enough for me.
I have used both at work. I switched to mac because of lack of Logic Audio on PC. depends on what you do. I game on consoles, work on PCs and play and surf worry free on mac. I also dual boot my mac so I miss no software at all.

I agree with you 100% regarding the customization and flexibility of the pc vs mac. I was adamant about the virtues of pc architecture for about 10 years. It is alot like a ca;r you buy a ferrari and you spend a ton of time tuning it for performance cause it can be made to run faster but at the end of the day i just want to drive to get groceries so i drive a honda.

I am really stoked on KZ2, R2 I will pass on just because I am a diehard Gears freak and I only have so much time. All great games and over time I will probably get them all.
