I have had one for a while now and it is my favorite piece of tech I have. I am not a iphone fanboy or anything but it really does give me alot of stuff to do on the go. It is mediocre at best as a game device i will admit that, but as a portable media device it has no competition what so ever. And yes I have owned the psp and it sucked at pretty much everything and was too big to really take it everywhere all the time.
but I couldn't get it out of the package so I had to buy a second one.

successfully being able to log in and look around should be worked out. I have tried a couple of times and got close to getting to the plaza area then it timed out again. If the developers think that people will put up with this for longer than a week they are fooling themselves. lol at that picture. you should get more fiber in your diet. Your sh!t needs to be at least three times that big. I got a PS3 last year and have only played uncharted and a little LBP. All in all I have logged maybe 40-50 hours and that includes movie watching. The thing I like best is the quality on divx playback. I dont know if it upscales it or what but they look fantastic. Anyways don't expect too much from it just enjoy it for what it is , a do everything not too bad media box.

Its a decent game I think everyone should have the option to play it. same goes for all other exclusives as long as they arent hampered overall by the other console. there are still enough options on the consoles to differentiate themselves. At least i wouldnt have to buy both consoles every gen.
Since MS essentially killed a decent franchise with Amped 3 (garbage) no one would buy Amped 4. Amped and amped 2 were decent.

It may not replace hardcore gamers handheld but the proportion of cell phone users to handheld gamers is weighted in the phones favor. No one ever considers that we (real gamers) are becoming the minority as far as gamer types go (casual/phone/ middle aged women/senior citizens, etc.). Now that first party games look so great it is rare that a multiplat has much wow factor anymore. Xbox version has more contrast but aweful jaggies ps3 version looks a little washed out but better Anti aliasing. Its a wash on this one not gonna buy it for either console.
When this game is released there is going to be a real disadvantage online. people have been honing skills and getting familiar with weapons etc. I am gonna get my ass handed to me on a platter. Its to the point that I am not sure i want to buy it, and that makes me bummed.

It would be nice to see a few games roll out using this engine in the next couple years. All that work needs to be enjoyed as much as possible.
Its good news for people who dont have 720p but 1080i. There are quite a few older sets out there without 720p but do 1080i, I had one once. this game would look great in any resolution. To me the subtle animations are what take it to a ho nuva level. Gonna be great to play it.
European homes are much smaller than north american homes and almost never have large family rooms. I went to a friends house last night and played it and it is a fun game but the thing took up his whole living room of his Euro sized condo. My biggest gripe on this game is the amount of future landfill it is going to create once the next big thing comes along.
