They arent selling them to retailers for 400 more like 350-375 (guessing) so they are still subsidizing the console a tiny bit. PS3 is priced right at the moment so no need to drop it. They are in the long haul and there will be many years of ps3 ahead. they will drop the price when ps4 comes out.
Halo CE is for Combat evolved. Was it really a launch title on the xbox though? I thought it came out a little while later. cant remember but its the reason I bought the original xbox and probably why I bought the 360. Its Gears that will keep me a slave to xbox in general though. Resistance 1 is a pretty crappy game though. I havent finished it and its the only game I have for my ps3 right now. Now before I get disagrees I will state why. the weapons sound like a 70's science fiction b movie...
This does not look half as good as people are saying. Graphics are a long way from finished but the movement seems too ridgid. I really didnt think resistance was that great and stopped playing it. KZ2 looks miles better than this. no matter what people say, think or disagree with me, Gears will outsell this 2 to 1 at least.
Cant wait to so those finishing moves. This series is my favourite game franchise ever. It is everything I love in one game. Over the top Blood, Violence, Aliens, and Brutal Weapons, cheezy one liners. November cant come soon enough.

We run Mac Pro's some with boot camp to run autocad and others use OSX for adobe suite. everything runs smooth and the office looks damn sexy with all the aluminum towers everywhere. the setup is expensive as hell but in an architecture firm it works very well. I was so impressed with OSX that I sold my hp laptop for $150 and got two macbook pro's for my wife and myself. iPOD Touch?
the screens look good no doubt but nothing we havent seen before. The game will sell from a gameplay story and fanbase perspective but I am a little disappointed that there is nothing mind blowing about these screens, i honestly truly expected better and these aren't even gameplay.
There gonna start using these speads to advertise digital downloads as the new media. Unfortunately these turbo connections are pretty damn pricey. If you factor in the cost per month for the connection plus the cost to rent a movie it will be a tough sell for Joe WalMart. But damn for the porn enthusiast this is great.

I love playing violent games but I am a non violent person. I don't play them until my 3 year old goes to bed. I have a hacked ipod touch and the nes and ps1 emulator have on screen buttons. They actually work pretty well. Besides that the accelerometer will make for interesting games. I can see golfing games working brilliantly with the touch screen, hook shots slices etc. Bowling, just maybe not shooters, although a sniper game might work. Just need to think outside the box. I like my ipod touch but i think this would have more potential for doing more stuff with. as long as its small enough and doesnt feel flimsy. these will sell well in japan.

i have a hacked touch with ps emulator and nes and a few games developed for use with the accelerometer. The games pretty much suck but this is for the minesweeper crowd rather than the gamer crowd. Nifty but not really competitive. the nicest thing about the touch is its very light and slim and portable. DS and psp are both a little too big to just carry around in your pocket in the summer, I tried and it didnt pan out for me.
Get a fvkn life losers. Gears owns, stop crying and get over it. If R2 is so bad ass just enjoy it, if it ever comes out.
