Is $50 a year worth hearing 12 year olds cursing when mommy and daddy isn't around?
I tried live, and didn't feel justified spending money on something that lets you cross chat with someone I can call on my cell phone.
Sorry but I'd rather have something that's:
A - Free
B - Has far less drama/kids online
C - Is a working progress
D - Has a service to meet other gamers outside playing a game (home)
E - Doesn't nickel and dime you ...
I do like 6 the best of all FF games, however 7 (with help of Residen Evil 2 and Metal Gear Solid) did introduce me to PlayStation, my social-life killer :D

I miss SquareSoft, I HATE and I mean HATE Square Enix.
Seems to me FF is the only thing they rely on. Before SE I would buy a game just because it was SquareSoft and it was actually good. Now when I see an SE game I think of a $50 drink coaster.
I'd rather 1 million people who bought the game and KEEP it than 6 million who trades it in the next day at GameStop. Seriously a lot of the MS base seems to be so bent on sales of games and hardware, yet they seem to get very quiet when someone mentions the resale shelf of various gaming stores. I have yet to walk into a GameStop or another store and see more than 4 USED copies of MGS4, LBP, R2, etc. yet I see at least 20+ copies of Halo 3 and Gears of War 2.
I miss the days of SNES/Genesis and PS1/N64 fights where it was technology and imagination over money. Square already lost me as a customer back when 12 came out (to me it was an offline version of 11), and after the merge with Enix I have yet to even play something decent from them.
Even if (and I say IF not when) 13 comes out for the PS3 I'll already be playing something that's far better and more enjoyable. I really hope square fails so bad they go under just to prove that...

When I had the 360 I didn't care for Mass Effect. Not because it was exclusive or had tons of graphic-related errors, but because it had a very slow beginning and I fell asleep every 5-10 min, glad I rented it.
I'd prefer Fallout 3 any day over this game, and Fallout 3 was my digital crack until the Socom 1.3 patch :D

Really I agree with Panthers I also play Socom and I don't hear people get stupid just over a female in the room; yet on the 360 all I hear is sexist jokes and other BS.
SNES version of Final Fight? I hated that version, give me the origional arcade with the cross-dressers and alcohol or the Sega CD version with a good soundtrack or the GBA version with Alpha Guy and Cody.
Where's X-Men arcade in all this? That used to rival Simpsons arcade back where I used to live

The way I see it, as long as their job was getting done who the f-ck cares what their hobbies are; I was hooked on FF11 to the point of not leaving my house 2 weeks in a row - yet I still went to work without calling in and I knew when it was bed time.

Its almost been a year since I quit Final Fantasy 11, and soon I'll be back in the MMO game when The Agency comes out.
At my job I was actually hired because (at the time) I played FF11 so they knew I had good people skills and could type 60+ words a minute (and knew about BIOS/driver updates).

Back on topic though: Not hiring WoW players is retarded; I guess you might as well ban Final Fantasy 11 players, CoD 4 Clan members, Halo 2/3 players, Star Craft nuts, etc. oh and while your at it why not anyone that has an achievement score of 10,000+ or a Trophy level 3+
After 3 1/2 years of Final Fantasy 11 SE can shove it. The only way I'll buy another SE MMO if its either based off Bushido Blade, Xenogears, Einhander, or Ehrgeiz.

Personally After Tekken Tag Tournament Arcade (all time favorite game) the series went down hill, 5 on the ps3 is ok however you can only fight Heiachi and Kazuya so many times before it gets old.
They can go multi all they want, if the game doesn't deliver I'm still not gonna buy it regardless of what console its on.

The problem is the person reading the review, not the reviewer itself. Sometimes I laugh at what the reviews say because most of it is borrowed garbage from someone else, or they go off of pure hearsay not personal experience, or was "paid" in some way to hype/downplay the game to no end. If there's a game I question I will rent it first that way if it is garbage its only $5-6 which is a dinner at Burger King so I'm not all that sour about it.
