I only played the Demo of Battlefield Bad Company so I can't really hold an opinion about it.

CoD 4 is a fun game and yes I still play it when someone asks me to; however I prefer KillZone 2 overall since it requires skill and teamwork than just "running around blasting people"
Again yes I do like CoD 4 however I give the edge to KillZone 2.
I could care less about the box art/logos my concern is the game itself. I go for games not "Oh my god look the logo is so ugly and it doesn't fit my current collection." My biggest piss off is the ones that refuse to buy greatest hits version of games because they swear it's not authentic; granted some (key word SOME) games did have few changes however it was still the same game, and sometimes the greatest hits was better with the added content.

This alone makes me want to sell my FF13 demo on Ebay; they went on a while back "No DLC for FF13" now its "Possible DLC for PSN/XBL" seriously you are either going to or your not, its the same way as saying "Might" and "Maybe" you either are or your not.
By the way Demo is a really good and it has potential of being a masterpice; my biggest complaint is going the route of "Oh we'll cut this out and add it later"
They aren't going anywhere, this whole digital-only approach is still too early to say 100% if its going to be the new thing. A lot of factors play in this; mostly ISP restricted bandwidth and not everyone has high speed internet so those two factors alone plays a big part; then even if it was out there's still speed issues.
Gamestop has nothing to worry about, not that I'm defending them but I will say they aren't going anywhere.

For - Biggest reason is a lot of games aren't being produced anymore (Xenogears, Final Fantasy 6, Tekken 3, etc) so used is all you really have as an option. Then there's those few who have a factory sealed game and jack the price up to $100+ just to argue "NEW!!11!!" The only thing I really want fixed is having to log out to play Namco games, if theres some way to play the arcade game right there in that space I'd appreciate it; if there's no way they could I'm not gonna get sour about it just annoying at times.
