1. Only idiots pay $200+ for a game you can find on the internet NEW for under $50 IF you know where to look

2. Not everyone wants to play multiplayer, and a lot of older games back then had BETTER multiplayer especially when it required skill from more than one player; Mario Kart 64 ring a bell?

3. Controls feel the same to me, some older games actually control better since there was no such thing as patches - it was either a hit or miss with perfection

I had both at one point a year ago and I've decided to keep the PS3 mostly because of the selection of games that fit what I wanted; and because I have a 60 GB PS3 with backwards playability (now has a 500 GB HDD). The 360 did have some high points, however the only games I put some time in was Gears of War, GTA4, and Call of Duty 4. Personally unless Microsoft pulls something out of the air I do not plan on owning another 360.

And before people start assuming I didn't play...

FF7 was the first PlayStation game I've played and was by far the best until I discovered Metal Gear Solid, Einhander, and Rival Schools.

However I was able to play Final Fantasy 3/6 and there were a few things 7 could have taken from 6 that would have made it even better; however I do like how 7 went into a new direction instead of trying to copy a previous version.

In high school I was the only kid to have Master summon, Omni Slash, and a Gold Chocobo; oh and I was also the first to beat it without using Knights of the Round on final Sephiroth. Also the first to beat Emerald Weapon WITHOUT underwater materia, but had to use an exploit (not an action replay, but a known trick) to beat Ruby with all 3 characters.

I usually don't brag but this was one game that did test my limits as a gamer back then

I already run a Dual Boot of win XP and Ubuntu 9, I'll do a triple boot with Google OS just to see how it runs; anything to get rid of Windows once and for all.....just need to have my youtube downloader :D that's the only thing keeping me running Win xp otherwise I run Ubuntu

As far as FF14 I don't know about since SE likes to ban its loyal fanbase over assumptions instead of facts.

Sounds like SE is trying to find a way to end 11 before 14 comes out if this banning garbage still goes on. I remember a few of my boys getting banned for farming god pop items to get their relic weapons upgraded past the first stage. Not everyone gets lucky on the BCNM/KSNM runs or gardening; I remember these few people who were lucky (not cheating, but just lucky) to get the Peacock charm every run; we'd randomize the order, go on certain moon phases, etc and every time get at least one Charm out of the run; I was lucky to even get Mannequin parts. I remember when I first played 11 the only RMT was the Ext players, then over time there was other RMT that appeared claiming NM's and fishing. It turned from banning RMT into banning people who are ASSUMED to be RMT which I personally think is stupid.

Who cares how fast it loads, I'm more concerned about HOW they play not what their score is.

I've used both PSN and Live and here's my personal take on this"

PSN - Free, easy to log on, has all the features I need (Cross game chat to me isn't needed since I have a cell phone if I want to call someone), and it has a far more mature crowd

5. This is one reason why I chose the PS3 over the 360; not because their games look better on paper, because they have games that PLAY better. I can't use the 360 controller on fighting games (my favorite genre of gaming) and also because I can play my older favorites and the newer games on one console
